Wicked Wednesday

OMG is it hot in here or what. The temperature rises and so does the questions. Let’s burn together shall we.

Q: Well hello fia. I have to say I enjoy the advice that you give for free on this site. Now here is my question. Smells. Not only do I have to deal with odors from strangers which I am amazed they do smell but to be next to a family member whose odor can burn your eye brows right off your face. Help. How would you approach that tactfully without being cruel?

A: Ewwwww weeeee. There is no tactful way of saying you stink. “Your deodorant walk out on you? Showers are really not your thing huh? I smell you every where you’ve been.” See there is no tactful way. But the thing is, it is your family member so you should be able to take them aside and say they smell if it’s that bad. It could possibly be a disorder of the sebaceous glands. Sorry could not be more help.

Q: I have a friend who monopolizes the conversation even though she is not part of  it. I need her to stop and advice.

A: Yes, every time she insinuates her voice in something that has nothing to do with her. All of you stop speaking. Then you say, “Sam it time for you to stop putting your comments in when no one ask you, it’s a bad habit you have. I am not trying to be mean but you do it often and it is really becoming annoying for all of us.” She/he may be made for a bit but eventually they will get over it and break that habit.

Q: Hi fia, I went to the doctor to get a skin tag removed. I get many of them and I get them removed with no problems. My doctor has in formed me that I could have skin cancer because of this spot she noticed out of the blue. She wants to biopsy it. My question is should I get a second opinion? I don’t want to have a biopsy to find out it’s just how my skin is. What do you think?

A: Hello, here is the answer. You can get a second opinion. But if both agree have the biopsy. I am not a doctor but I know it is not something to play with. If it’s nothing count your blessings and if it’s something get treatment to stop it. I hope it is good news.
