The call of the Dhampir chpt 7

The day was never kind to the dead and it will never be. Makalo fought against his infernal desire to sleep waiting for news about Adorjan.

The messenger had arrived with his normal over the top flare of smoke and glowing eyes. That would normally make Makalo laugh but not this day.

“Lewin what’s the information on Adorjan?”

Lewin could tell Makalo was not very pleased with his entrance and he would normally do something else to get a smile out of him but his aura deterred that thought.

“My prince, Adorjan has made it to the city and we have lost sight of him once he entered that witch home.”

“You mean he’s at Celestie?”

“Yes.”

“Hopefully he will get himself out of there.”

“Would you like fo us to assist?”

“No, that witch is more powerful than she may look. I can not assist him. With every trial, he encounters it will strengthen him.”

“As you wish.”

“Lewin keep your eye on him.”

“Yes, my prince.”

“After I wake tonight I will be taking a little trip to the island. No one must know where I have gone. Find me there in two day’s time and give me a report on his progress.”

“You have faith that he will get out of the witches lair?”

“Good day Lewin, now be off and before you leave to destroy the two males that watched you come into my room.”

Lewin had a look on his face that showed he did not see anyone watching him.

“One was hidden behind the stable entrance and the second was carrying the linen to Abella room.”

“At once. Good day.”

Makalo hoped he will get free from Celestie

Adorjan could not sleep in the strange house. For some reason, something was urging him to leave.

“Adorjan leave. Do not trust Celestie.” A soft voice said. He abruptly rose off the bed and grabbed his satchel. He opened the door and made his way back down towards the entrance.

“So I will finally get that precious blood, jorra.” She said but to who?

Adorjan peeked around the corner and seen a little Persian cat curled up on the arm of a chair. The cat notices him looking and it signaled Celestie that she was being spied on.

“So, Adorjan I guess you were not that tired at all. Would you like to have something to eat?”

“What do you want with my blood?”

Celestie stood up and jorra her cat jumped down and walked over to her spot at the window.

“What did you hear?”

“You want my blood and I want to know now why?”

“Why do you think? You are a child of a vampire and a gypsy. Your blood is powerful and I mean to have allot of it.”

“You mean to drain me?” Adorjan said staring at her.

“Adorjan why don’t we come inside and we can discuss this.”

Adorjan went straight to the door and it was locked. “Open the door Celestie.” He said through clenched teeth.

“Why would I do that?” She kept moving closer and Adorjan kept her in his sight.

“I will say it one more time. Open the door.”

“Or what? You have been living with your mother and my sister in the woods all your life. You think you’re a threat to me.”

Adorjan went back to the door and he focused on the door nob. He tried to remember what his yaya had taught him. He could hear Celestie move closer to him and time was running out.

“What are you trying to do?” She said through a laugh. “No one can get out of my spell.”

One more second and he heard the click. Celestie stopped when she saw the door open.

Adorjan gabbed his bag and ran out of the house and looked at her from the other side of the gate.

Celestie tried to go after Adorjan but once she stepped out from the house she screamed.

“What deal did you make? You sold your life away and you were willing to drain me for what?”

Celestie turned and slammed the door behind her. Adorjan did not think he wouldn’t have someplace to stay. He made his way back to the dock and luck had it that the twins boat was still there. Now the catch was to figure out where they were.

Adorjan decided just to wait for them on the boat. He found a stop where he placed his satchel down so he could rest his head. He never slept heavy so someone thinking that they could creep up on him will be surprised.

He looked up at the sky and thought of his mother and his yaya. Their teachings saved his life. He never thought he would have to worry about his own family trying to kill him.

As he bagan to doze off a bird flew off towards the moon. “Odd. I would never guess that black birds flew so far across the sea.”

__________________________________________________________________________________________

The bird flew to its mistress to inform her of what the abomination was up to. Abella recovered from the atrocities that was inflicted on her by the ancient.

She was seething from her anger towards how Makalo. The way he acted as if she caused this on her self. She did not have a child with a human or another vampire, he did.

“Mother, I need to speak to you.”

Abella’s bedroom door was swung opened wide as a young woman with deep, crimson hair that cascade down her exposed shoulders.  A set of perfect bowed lips painted as if she used paint lacquer on them. The shine from it drew attention. But nothing could take away from her eye’s. There was no denying that she was the daughter of Makalo.

“What is it?”

“I want to go to the village tonight. Niece told me that unless you give the ok I can not go.”

“That is correct.”

“Really mother?” She said sarcastically

“I am a pure blood. I am stronger that a horse, let alone a mortal. I want a sip of fresh blood. We have not gone out in ages and I crave it.”

Abella knew how strong she was and that frightened her. Everyone dare not tell her that she killed her true mother or face the rath of the prince. She came to love her as if she had her, herself.

“We shall go tomorrow night. I want to take you some place special. Can you wait until then?”

“Special?” Her eyes showed her brain mulling things over. “Okay I can wait another night.”

“Until then have you decided who you want to mate?”

“Not this again. I am to young and I am just enjoying being. I don’t want to be ruled over. I am going to the gardens. I will see you tomorrow then mother.”

She leaned over and she could smell that niece rubbed roses through her hair as she gave her a kiss on the cheek. As she turned to leave the black bird flew through the window. The young vampire was not surprised to see the bird. She thought that was her mother’s weakness. Her dependency on those beasts. She stormed off the same way as she walked in. In a storm

” Now tell me what you know.” Abella commanded the bird.

So Adorjan narrowly missed getting killed. The red-head is holding to her nature and Abella is not letting up. If you like please star it and comment. Until next time. Fia xoxox

The call of the Dhampir chpt 5

th1ZG68X8R

Not every night has clear skies and a bright moon. No, not every night, especially not tonight.

Adorjan had waken to complete darkness. The wooded creatures were very vocal and their was not odd feeling that something was a miss as he slept. He decided that he should make his way to the shore that night. It was just a few hours away and he knew he had to cross the water’s to get to his destination.

The little water town of Atal was celebrating the big catch the ships had brought in. There was music and dancing where ever you turned. Adorjan made his way to one of the boats that was docked and noticed a young man tieing the boat to a large tree pole.

“Excuse me, can you tell me if I can purchase a ride across the sea.”

The young man laughed and did not bother to turn around. “Why go across the sea? Tonight is the night to be frivolous and be at ease.”

“I can see that and I am willing to wait until the morning.”

The young man turned around and he held a smile on his face that could convince any young woman of innocence as he proceed to convince them to do anything but innocent things.

“I have not seen you in Atal before. Are you visiting family or did you make a mistake and listen to those old drunkards and they convinced you to come and make your fortune on the sea?”

Adorjan could not help but smile at the young man asking him questions.

“Since you seem so interested. I lived off the town of Newer Town and I have decided to make a life for myself across the sea. Now can you direct me to the captain of the boat so I can purchase a ride?”

“I tell you what. Tonight there is no moon in the sky and no self-respecting sailor will go out on such a night. Since you say you will wait until morning you might as well wait with me.”

“But you still have not given me the name of the captain of the boat.”

“I did not. My name is Binx Jewel and this is my boat. You may come across another young man who looks similar to me his name is Bijoux. He is my younger brother by just a hair or two. As for the fee, I will mull it over as the night goes on. What say you?”

Adojan was not eager to mingle with people. His fear of being found out was bothering him greatly but he had to learn to fit in if he was going across to sea.

“That sounds good.”

“I fail to get your name?”

“So sorry, My name is Adorjan Szabo.”

“Alright , now lets eat, drink and see what the night unfolds.”

Brinx slapped Adorjan on the back and lead him into the town.

=========================================================================

The night had stretched into the morning. One by one the people of the town Atal went into their homes for the rest of the night.

Brinx went off with a red-headed young woman over hour ago and Adorjan decided to sit under an old tree, a little away from everyone and get some rest.

“Is there something wrong with you?”

Adorjan stood up quickly to see were the voice was coming from.

“Come out, do not hide.” He said out loud.

“Who said I am hiding? You just have not seen me as yet. Look up into the tree you were about to sleep under.”

There was a young woman laying on a branch. Her face was hidden by the darkness.

“Why are you up in the tree? Why are you not at home for the night?”

“The world is my home and this branch as long as it holds is my bed. What is your reason ,why are you not in for the night? Is there something wrong with you?”

“No there is not. Why do you ask?”

“Every young man has found a young woman to bed for the night. Yet you sleep alone under the stars.”

“Well since your up in the tree were I am about to sleep under. Who said I am alone.?”

“Quick wit.” She said as it sounded as if she was smiling, since he could not see her face.

“I’m Adorjan and your name is?”

“Creya. Well goodnight bed fellow.”

“Goodnight Creya.”

The dawn came quick but not quick enough for Adorjan he was ready to cross the sea. He heard when the young woman climbed down and ran off towards one of the homes. He pretended to be asleep since she did not want to be seen.

He walked up to the boat Brinx had tied up and seen him walking around it looking at all the ropes that tied the long sheet to the pole.

“Good morning Brinx. I see that the red-head did not keep longer than the night.

Brinx looked at him as if he had two heads.

“So you met Brinx?”

“My apologies. You must be Bijoux. I had purchased a ride across the sea from your brother.”

“I see and how much did he charge?”

“He did not name the price as yet. Can you tell me how much it would be?”

“Ten pence.”

“Ten seems a bit steep, but here you are.”

Out of nowhere a voice said,” Keep your money. We are going to the city anyway. Just help when we need it and that will pay for your trip.”

Brinx climbed aboard and walked pass his brother.

“Brinx, that is why we make next to nothing. We need to charge.”

“Bijou he has next to nothing to his name.If we do good then good things will come back to us.,”

Adorjan could not tell them apart visually but their personalities shown their true colors. Either way he had his ride and his quest was on its way.

In the shadow of the tree he slept under, the young woman who slept on the branch kept watch. She was to report to the prince of his son’s were abuts. She was not a vampire or slave.

She did what she was asked because a promise she had given to the prince a very long time ago and she always keeps a promise.

==========================================================================

Makalo received word that Adorjan had booked passage to the city. He could not help him or the rest of the vampire nests will see it as a weakness. But he will keep track of his progress.

He had to be the chosen. He had to live.

So my fire starters Adorjan is on the move across the sea. What is he chosen to be? Isn’t he an abomination? If you like it so far hit like and tell a friend. It’s a great compliment.

Makalo felt the shift in the house when Abella returned. He was in his library sitting on his ninetieth century throne when the shift occurred.

He put down his memoir of his life two centuries ago and rose from his comfort to greet his absent mate. He could have waited until she fully recovered from the ordeal she had to endure, but why she he? There was no love between them that he had to show such compassion.

He went to her chamber to be met face to face with her trusted guard who seemed a bit (ashined) himself.

“Is Abella awake?”

“the guard bowed and answered, ” No my prince.”

“That is alright. You may leave and feed. I do not seem to recall your name?”

“I am Artimus Cello, my prince.”

“Who sired you?”

“Abella, my prince.”

He nodded with understanding and walked past him opening the door to her chamber. Abella was laid out straight with her dark chestnut hair around her. Her pallor was grey and yet he felt no compassion towards her.

“Awaken Abella.” He commanded.

Abella slowly opened her eye’s to the prince’s command.

“I hear that you visited the ancient to get some information.”

Abella tried her best to sit up but her body felt heavy from the lack of blood.

“Yes.”

“was the price you paid equivalent to the information you received?”

She cast her eye’s down, knowing he knew the ordeal she went through.

“I should ignite the damn parchment. You gave yourself to what we consider an unclean ancient to kill my offspring. Yes I know what you retrieved.”

“Why should you car who I give myself too. You have not visited my bed in centuries. Instead you go to the cattle. Why punish me over something you are not interested in.”

“You are correct. I will never go to your bed. By law your infidelity is enough for me to kill you, but I gave my word to your father I would not.”

“You wont burn the parchment will you.”

Makalo looked at his mate with a look of pure anger and disgust.

“I will not burn the parchment. I will let things go as written.”

Adella kept her eye’s casted down as she whispered,” What have I ever done to you to hate me so much?”

“You really want that answer?”

“Yes,my prince.”

“You were created.” He turned around and walk toward the door. “I will allow this transgression once. Do you understand?”

“Yes” she whispered with her head still bowed. She would have shed tears if she was not drained.

===========================================================================

I feel as if I have not given you the necessary back ground information on the mating of Makalo and Abella. That story needs it’s own blog to give you the complete synopsis. But I will tell you that the mating of the two was arranged and enforced by the former Prince Lacume. He wanted a unification of the second strongest vampire nests in the world. Makalo had his sights on Nikila. Abella’s youngest sister. They had met secretly and planned to make the announcement of their mating. Abella found out and secretly planned the death of her youngest sister, Makalo’s first and only love.

==========================================================================

Adorjan walked endlessly in the woods around the small towns. Making sure not to go onto property and spooking the animals.

He slept sparingly. He did not need much sleep as his sire but he also did not sleep as much as his mother. He ate what he trapped and cooked the meat. Never well done just a slight char to give it flavor.

When he did sleep he rarely dreamed. Unfortunately, tonight was not one of them. He was walking down what looked like a dark hall. At the end of the hall was a small glass floating in the center of a square room.

The light that was being cast was from a candle at the far left of the room. H walked up to the bowl and inside was a clear order less fluid. He took it and drank. Instantly is insides burned and his eyes bled.

Adorjan woke with a start. He knew that was a foreboding as his yaya would say. He made a note to remember the dream. His life may depend on it.

So my Fire starters are you hooked? I hope your enjoying it so far. Please like and comment. fia xoxox

Fantasy Friday (Elphin,Le’em,&Loeun)

celebration

So this is starting off at the point of the battle.

Everyone went to their position to wait for the signal from Julia. The all heard the what was being said. Le’em and Elphin went to the northeast side while the other’s were stationed north, south, and west. The captain and the rest of the crew were with the scientists.

“Le’em when this is over we need to talk.”

Le’em looked at Elphin and could not believe that he could not stay focused on what’s at stake. She gave him a nod. Le’em godor beast started making the noise again and she did not understand why.

She looked around and to her left hidden behind a large dark tree, there was Loeun. That explained why one of her beasts was acting out. The Anor beast seemed content that Elphin was at their side. This was becoming too confusing.

“I have come to claim what was created for me.”
“The planet Anori was not created for you. It was created for The Anorie and the Godor’s.”
“You are wrong. You all are abominations. The planet was created for the Oni. Prepare to die.”

The three of them heard the threat and seen the signal. Elphin grabbed Le’ems hand and their beast sent out a wave of energy that combined with the anorie people.

They stopped and it was time for the godor people. Loeun ran up to Le’em and grabbed her other hand. The godor beast inside of Loeun coaxed Le’em beast to come to the front and draw the energy that was just emitted back into her.

She felt as if her body was going to explode with the amount of energy that was coursing through her. Once the Godor beast drawn out as much as they could, They have seen that something was sent up to the Oni from the scientist. It was powerful enough to annihilate the Oni.

The explosion left grey dust covering the planet as well as metal objects falling all around them.

Le’em looked at both of her hands and seen that Elphin and Loeun had not let go. She looked at both men in their eyes and knew what her decision was, but would they be able to handle it?

*****************************************************************************

The people of Anor waited for a few days for the sky to clear before they celebrated their victory over the Oni. The Godor’s had gone back to their homes but they promised to return for the celebration.

Le’em had managed to avoid Elphin up until the day of the celebration. Elphin cornered her in the exercise room against the weights.

“Le’em, we are going to talk. It will be either here or someplace more private but it will happen now.”

She knew she could not avoid it any longer.”Alright, let’s go to my quarter’s.”

The walk was short, but it felt as if she was walking a mile. Her anorie beast was hopping around inside of her. It wanted its mate and it had not been happy that she was not close to him. The Godor beast is feeling down. She knew what needed to be done.

Once the door closed she turned to Elphin and took a deep breath before she spoke.

“Elphin I know your beast has claimed mine but have you? Before you answer I must tell you that I can not have a traditional anorie relationship. I have two beasts and they both want to be mated.”

“So you are telling me that I must go against my instincts and share what is mine?”

“Yes.”

Le’em waited for Elphin’s answer. She knew it would be hard for him and his beast to handle.

“We want our mate.”

Le’em smile and hugged him.

“How will we handle this?”

“I had not figured everything out yet but I must tell Loeum the same thing I have told you.

“Before You tell him, can I as for thing?”

“Okay.”

Elphin pulled her away and looked at his mate and kissed her. I was a strong and dominating kiss. A kiss that she felt from her toes to her head. Elphin kissed her as if he waited all his life for her.  He slowly took his lips away from her’s and looked at his mate.

“I will make you happy.”

“You have already.” Le’ems anorie beast purred its joy at being held by her mate while her godor beast whimpered inside.

Elphin left Le’em in her quarters to prepare to tonight’s celebration. She had asked what would be pleasing to see to an anorie male and a godor male. She came up with an outfit she hoped that the two males would appreciate her in.

The celebration was in full swing when the Godor people arrived. They brought food and drinks to join in. Loeun searched for Le’em and when he found her he could not hold his mouth closed,

She wore the traditional color of the gordor people and yet she showed enough skin that it was appealing to an anorie.

Loeum walked up to Le’em and couldn’t hold himself back from taking her hand. Elphin has seen what was happening and held himself back. She was going to be their mate and he had to train himself to control his possessive instincts.

“Loeun we need to talk please come with me.” Le’em asked. he followed with no question.

Once inside her quarters, she turned to look at Loeun. He looked around her room before his attention went back on her.

“Loeun I know you want to claim me as your mate but I have to tell you I can not have just one mate.”

“I know.”

“You know?”

“Yes, the wise woman in our village told me when I was young that I will mate with a woman with whom I had to share.”

“Did that not upset you?”

“No. I do not think I could fulfill all the needs of a mate on my own. After I was told I would have to share a mate I thought it would be with another godor, not anorie.”

“Is that going to be a problem?”

“It should not as long as we can all agree on certain things. Oh and I do have a temper as I see your other mate has as well. So I will try to keep calm but I will not back down from a fight.”

“Thank you for being honest with me.”

“How does your beast feel about this union?”

“The both of them are trying to out-sing each other. It’s getting quite loud in here.”

“Loeum laughed and it made him look more attractive to her. He was a taller man than Elphin so she had to think things out.”

Le’em walked closer to him and he stopped laughing and looked at his mate. “Will, you not kiss your mate Loeun?”

He slightly bent down and kissed Le’em softly. His kiss was different from Elphins. It was like he was memorizing the very texture of her mouth. He savored her taste and with every swipe of his tongue, the fire with her grew hotter.

Le’em broke the kiss reluctantly. “We have to return and announce to every one of our matings. ”

“I did not think of how we would blend out rituals. They are different. We will figure it out. Let’s go tell Elphin that we are going to be a family.”

“Yes, mate.”

AS Le’em and Loeun emerged from the ship they went to Elphin and told. All three of them were smiling and could not wait to announce to all that was there.

“Every one we would like your attention.”

Loeun said the same. As they all quieted down Elphin spoke first.

“I am happy to announce that Le’em has agreed to become Loeun and my mate.”

Loeun said the same to his people and after the shock wore off everyone cheered.

The celebration went well into the morning.

The leader’s of the Anorie and Gordor people were happy because this mating will unify them both.

Hello, my fire starters. So I hope you enjoying Fantasy Friday. There is a mating ceremony coming and it’s going to be amazing. All comment and like are welcomed and encouraged. The best compliment is telling somebody about the story. Until next we meet. XOXO

Fantasy Friday

thJITM2R0G

The moon has done its nightly run around the planet Anor. Its inhabitants are oblivious to what is currently happening right above them. The stars are disappearing one by one.

The Oni is approaching the planet Anor. It is the only planet in the verse that has the potential to sustain it for millennia.  It feels the pull of energy.

**********************************************************************************

Julia wakes from a visionless sleep, with an uncontrollable tremble. Since the day she had been set on a course to defeat the Oni, her dreams were always filled with clues or weird sayings coming from voices she never before. She has never confided this with anyone.

Her mate rose to look at her feeling her uneasiness. Their bond and set in place, he felt every emotion she was having and she felt his. Normally a bond that strong would take time to develop, but it seems as if they bond quickly popped into place overnight.

“Julia the plan will work. The people are ready.”

“I know, that is not the problem. I feel like something is being held from me. I would see things as I sleep and now I see nothing.” She felt safe in telling him what she was thinking.

“That is natural that your mind would shut all things out for you to concentrate on the battle.”

She nodded in agreement. “We should get ready. Today it will appear.”

Lorac shook his head no and leaned to kiss her on her neck. The spot he found that pleases his mate and her beast. The familiar purr that came from within her, told him that her beast was enjoying the attention.

“We do not have time. We should get ready.” She said as she leaned into his warm lips. Lorac tongue was doing this odd twirl that sent shivers through her.

“We have time. I go will go quickly.”

Julia gave up and agreed. They had time. Plus if they should die sharing one more encounter would be a great send off.

The crew was ready and waiting for Julia and Lorac. Sanu was in his traditional battle garments. Elphin and Le’em was standing near the ships door when they walked in. Red T and the Januk was there as well waiting for them.

The two Godor’s had arrived a few minutes before to inform them that their people were ready.

“Alright, everyone. The Oni will appear shortly. We all know what to do. All I ask is to fight with everything within you. This will end with us being victorious or with us being no more. I am proud to be an Anorie and to stand with all of you in this battle is my honor.” Julia looked everyone in the eye and gave a slight tilt of her head.

Lorac spoke to his people and the Godors’s. Le’em began to translate until the planet shook viciously.

“It has arrived.”Red T announced. The Godor left the ship first and went to their people who hide in the dense trees.

Julia and the rest went straight out and looked at the Oni. The Oni was a huge pupiless eye above a pitch black circle.

“I have come to claim what was created for me.”

“The planet Anori was not created for you. It was created for The Anorie and the Godor’s.”

“You are wrong, abomination. The planet was created for the Oni’s. Prepare to die.”

The Oni sent a powerful vibration to the planet causing it to tremble a crack so deep, that the core of the planet could be seen.

Julia cried out “Now!” to the Anorie people. As one the Anorie sent out wave after wave of energy purposely feeding the Oni. It seemed to be enjoying the abundance until the stopped.

It was the Godors turn. The Godor people concentrated their energy to ingest the energy that was being consumed by the Oni. The being did not know what was happening.

“What are you doing?” It called out and the world trembled. Julia looked at Red T and the Anorie woman and they nodded in unison.

The surrounding planets began to consume the energy of the Oni. Red T had sent a message out into the verse to the surviving Anorie and Gordor people that to say their homeworld that they must unify and defeat the Oni upon his signal. Januk entered the dreams of the captured godor and informed them as well of the impending doom and the plan. She sent her signal as well.

The power drainage was causing the eye to shrink in size.

“You can not do this.” It sent out another pulse of energy that slightly shook the planet. They were weakening the Oni.

“Now!” Red T called out to the scientist. The scientist sent out an experimental bomb that uses the residual energy around a planet to detonate and explode every living being and planet.

The bomb was sent into the eye and the countdown began.

“8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1” The explosion was felt in tens of thousand worlds. The planet calmed with its new landscape. The people rejoiced and cheered. They defeated the Oni once again.

Suddenly, large stone and metal objects began to fall from the sky. The people scattered looking for shelter.

The explosion caused a grey hue to cover the planet. They defeated the Oni but will it have the last laugh?

Hey I hope you like what you have read so far. I purposely left out Le’em and Elphin. You will find out why in the next excerpt. Please comment and hit that like button. Until next time. XoXo

Fantasy Friday (In the Throw)

two men

The meeting with the two godor men continued into the night. It took a lot of time persuading them, that the Oni was on its way to destroy them along with every other planet in the universe.

Once the leader Dolu agreed to help in the battle. He still did not trust the Anorie but he will protect his people.

Loeum started to speak to them and pointed off to the east of where they stood.

“He has invited us to go and stay the night with the Godor people it would show trust between the two leaders.”

Jayla looked at Lorac and she could tell he did not like that idea.

“Tell them to thank you but since Lorac and I have just mated that we want to return home.”

Le’em translated the information and the men nodded their understanding. Before they left Loeum walked up to Le’em and spoke.

(I do not know if you are mated but my beast recognizes you as one of us and I want you.) He said to her, causing her beast to purr slightly. Her cheeks inflamed a bit from embarrassment.

Sanu and Elphin watched what was transpiring and their beast began to claw at them.

“What is he saying Le’em?” Elphin asked.

She did not want to destroy the agreement to fight together so she decided she would bend the truth a little.

“He said that their beast recognizes me as one of their own and I am welcome.”

“You tell him that our beasts recognize you as well and you are coming home with us.”

Le’em looked at Elphin not understanding the anger.

“Le’em thank him nicely and explained that she is half anorie as well. ”

Loeum looked surprised but he did not waver in his claim on her. He nodded that he understood and went back to Dolu. Both Godor left without looking back.

The group trekked it back to the ship.

Le’em did not say a word to Elphin but said good night to Sanu. Sanu looked at Elphin standing more erect with a look of a winner. Elphin and his beast both stormed off.

Jayla, Lorac and Red T witness the event. Red T burst out with laughter and Jayla soon followed.

Lora tried to hide the smile on his face. Sanu looked at all three as if he did not get what was so funny.

“Lorac I will talk to her tomorrow. She does not know what happened with the men this evening. Her sense of smell is not heightened so she did not realize that they both desire her.

“Jayla it is not only two but three. That male Loeum wants her as well.”

“Well, we do have a problem here.”

“Not necessarily. She has two beasts inside of her. I do not think one male will satisfy both beasts.”

“Jayla looked at Red T and knew what he was saying is true. Sanu overheard and he looked enraged and stormed off towards their people. Jayla looked at Lorac to explain.

“We do not share mates. He would have to share and he may not be able to do that especially with a godor.”

This was going to get messy. She will talk to Le’em and make her understand that she should not choose anyone until the mission was over. They needed the Godor’s help desperately in order to defeat the Oni.

***************************************************************************

Red T woke with a start. He was floating outside his body and observing the Aiac nebula when a sound made him return to his body.

Another loud crash came from outside his quarters. He got up and ran towards it to discover that Elphin was in his beast form and Le’em was against the wall in the sparing area.

“Le’em leave now and go to your quarters.”

“I just mentioned that I would like to see Loeum again and he turned.”

“Go now!”

Le’em ran out and Jayla accompanied with Lorac came in.

“What happen?” Jayla asked

“He is in the throws.”

“The what?”

“When a male is near his potential mate his protective instincts appears. He can not control it.”

“What do we do?”Jayla keeping an eye on both Elphin and Red T.

“I will get Sanu. He is not feeling the throws so he is definitely not Le’em mate but he is willing to fight.”

“Is that the only way?”

“Yes, he will make himself as the threat.”

Red T  made sure to keep himself in Elphin’s view.

“Go get him now.” Red T said calmly.

Lorac went out of the ship and let out the most urgent roar calling Sanu to him. Elphin’s head turned to the sound and let out his own challenging roar.

Red t heart almost stopped from the strong bass in Elphins roar.

“Are you alright, Red?”

“So we are on first name basis now?” He said with a slight chuckle.

Jayla did not realize she had done that and smiled.

Lorac came back with a large beast by his side. That had to be Sanu. As a beast, he had at least a foot more in height.

Red T slid out from being in front of Elphin since his focus was no longer him. Sanu’s beast turned and ran out of the ship causing Elphin to follow. Lorac, Jayla and Red T was right behind them. Sanu stopped ten feet away from the ship.

The Anorie people were there to witnesses the fight to make sure it was fair. Elphin and Sanu circled each other gageing each other’s weaknesses.

Elphin pounces and landed a bite on Sanu right shoulder. Sanu was able to turn and bit on Elphins leg causing him to let him go. They both stared each other down and roared showing their strength.

Sanu swiped his paw across Elphins face, leaving tracks across his muzzle. Elphin pounced again causing Sanu to land on his back.

Sanu took a bite on Elphins shoulder causing him to leat out a roar. The Anorie people roared as well. Elphin pulled his power forward and went for a killing bite. Sanu’s neck. Once he clamped down Elphin felt a something large hit him on the side causing him to release Sanu.

The Anorie people roared in approval. Elphin was the winner. Elphin turned back into his human form his beast was satisfied. He looked up and seen what his beast had done. Sanu had changed back and he was being stared down by Lorac’s beast. He lowered his head in respect.

Lorac changed back and went to Sanu to see if he was harmed. Sanu stood and went to Elphin and gave him a respectful nod to show he conceded.

Le’em witness the fight from the ship. Jayla went to her and whispered,  ” Elphin is attracted to you and you did not notice. You two have to talk but can you put it off until after the battle.”

“But I am attracted to Louem. This is crazy.”

“Le’em why can’t you have them both? You are a half breed and I am pretty sure your beast are attracted to their own kind.”

“Two? I.. only envisioned only one.”

“Well start thinking of you with two and putting off that talk will give you time to figure this out.” Jayla walked onto the ship leaving Le’em with her thoughts as she looked at Elphin.

After everyone disbursed. Elphin went to  Le’em. I wanted to tell you how I felt but you kept talking about Louem and my beast could not take it.” He looked down at the ground then at her.

Le’em smiled and said, “We’ll talk after the battle.”

“So no more talking of Louem, right?”

Le’em smiled and walked into the ship. Red T was standing off to the side and heard what transpired between them.

“Elphin we need to talk and I advise you not to act until the information has sunk in.

Elphin did not like the sound of that. But he followed Red T on to the ship to his quarters.

The Captain heard what happen later. He went out to scout the scientist facility to see what they were up to and it was not good.

Fantasy Friday (The meeting)

eyes

It’s like day and night simultaneously on the planet of Anore. Lorac lead the expedition to the Godor people. He assigned Sanu to be by Jayla side. He felt more at ease to have him beside his mate, if he could not be.
Elphin and Le’em walked behind but keep their eye’s on Sanu. They maybe of the same race but he did not treat them as such. He looked at Le’em as if she was abnormal and normally that would not have bothered her but the way he did it bothered her more than normal.
Elphin did not like the way the Anorie looked at Le’em. He read something different and he smelled what was coming off him. He was attracted to Le’em and his beast did not like it.
“Why do you keep looking back?” Elphin asked Sanu
Sanu just gave him a look and smelled the air. He gave Elphin a smile that was not meant to be friendly, but he did not answer him.
Le’em nudged Elphin arm to tell him to cool it. It did not seem to help. Elphin walked up a bit closer to the Anorie, purposely getting into his space.
“You need to back down, little Anorie. You are not capable to take me.”
“Why don’t you try me? Big Anorie.” Elphin said taunting him into a brawl. His beast was ready to take the male.
“You would do this now?”
“Yes.”
“We wait until we return to the Anorie people.”
“Why?”
“There are things that must be done traditionally. If you are challenging me it will be done as it has always been done.”
Elphin did not care for tradition. He was raised in the streets. He fought to survive and to keep what is his.
“Elphin what are you doing?” Le’em asked as she grabbed his arm.
He did not answer instead he fell back to walk with Red T.
Le’em face showed the confusion she felt.
Jayla heard everything that went on and smelled the pheromones. Le’em sense of smell must not have developed fully or she could not tell when two males were in heat. She will be talked to her once their mission to recruit the Godor was over.
They walked until the sun was about to set. Lorac stopped in an area where the trees looked as if they were in a hibernated sleep.
“We are in Godor territory. My beast is pushing me to turn and leave this place.” He whispered to Jayla.
She knew what he was talking about because her beast was doing the same. But she decided to push on. This wasn’t about just her or Lorac it was about every being in the universe and she had a mission.
They heard something rustling all around them. The Godor people had surrounded them. Their inner beasts were riled up ready to battle.
“Reveal your selves.” Jayla called out.
Lorac looked at her as if she had two heads. “They do not understand you.”
A strange noise came from the north of them. Jayla looked at Lorac to explained.
“He said why are the Anorie here?”
They all looked at Le’em. “My father taught me this language. He said one day I will return to them.” She chuckled “well he was right.”
“Can you tell them that I want to speak to their leader.”
Le’em translated and a voice replied.
“What was said?”
“They said they will only meet with me and you.”
“No. She will not leave my sight.”
Le’em explained what was being said and a reply came immediately.
“He said that he may come but if he attacks he will die.”
Jayla nodded her agreement. Le’em began to walk towards the voice and Jayla noticed that the left side of her body was turning into a dark ash color.
“Le’em are you alright?”
“Yes why?”
“Your skin color is changing in on the left.” Le’em looked and felt a bit nervous but it was not a time to think about herself. Her Godor beast roared within her. She felt the joy it was emitting.
As they came to another clearing there stood two men. The color of their skin was a dark ash. The color that appeared on her skin. The walked forward and stood in the center of the clearing.
Le’em’s eyes went to the man standing beside the first. He was as tall as the leader was, but he had broader shoulders and longer hair., that fell in layered waves.
The male in front spoke. Le’em listened then translated.
“He said that he is Dolu and his second is Loeun. Why have we entered their territory.?”
Le’em beast started to humm as she looked at Loeum again. He looked at her and the intensity in his eyes shook her.
(What is going to happen when Sanu and Elphin find out there may be a third contender. Will Jayla convince Dolu to join the fight? Well we will just have to wait and see my fire starters. If you’re enjoying the story, please like and comments are welcomed. Until next time. Keep the fire lit)

Fantasy Friday(Arriving on planet Anor)

untitled

Lorac woke up startled by a loud sound overhead. He ran to the opening of his home, just in time to see a rusted, ship fly over. His heart was beating quickly. His mate had to be on the ship.

He went inside and sat still to center his emotions. He did not want to run out in front of everyone as if he was a child. He breathes in and out deeply several times to calm himself. He spoke to his beast in a neutral voice to keep it calm. When he felt that he had regained his composure he rose and gathered his staff.

His staff was made out of the finest Anorie tree, the core was made from the heart of the tree. What made it special was the fact that the staff can conduct the electric pulse that the Anorie chief creates to destroy its opponent.

He did not know what he was walking into, but he was ready for battle never the less.

*********************************************************************************

Jayla stood rigidly still on the bridge as they approached Anor. She knew her life was about to change and she had to get a hold of her emotions to handle such a monumental time in her life.

“Jayla are you alright?” the captain asked as he glanced her way. One of many times he noticed that she did not move from her chosen spot.

“Yes, captain.”

“Jayla come with me to my office for a moment will you.” The captain rose and walked to the right of the deck into his office with Jayla close on his heels. When he heard the door close he turned and looked at her.

“Jayla you do not have to do this. Just because someone said this is your destiny does not mean you have to follow it.”

Jayla stood still listening to what the captain said but she knew she had to go through with it. Her beast has been urging her to mate, since this whole escaped was started.

“Captain I know this is something I must do. I am being lead to it and I do not want to see my people exterminated completely. The scientist have done so with out the impending Oni on its way.”

The captain did not remove his stare. He knew she would do what is called for but why is she acting so unlike her self.

“If you are going through this than why are you so frightened?”

“I am not frightened.” She said as she shifted her stance.

“Ahh, yes you are. No more beating around the bush what is wrong? Is it the mating act or the fact that it will be done around strangers.?”

She looked away for a moment and he knew he hit it on the nose.

“Look every species has customs and you were raised by humans so our customs were rubbed off on you. Our way of being sexual behind closed doors is a custom that was ingrained in us but you are Anorie. When the time comes let your beast lead you. Relax and push the sight of the others away and focus on the mission. You are a soldier.”

Jayla thought on what the captain was telling her to do. She is a soldier. She can do this.

“Your right captain. I can complete my mission.”

He was happy that his pep talk helped. She was so still she almost looked as if she was going to crack under the pressure.

“Will you be there to witness the mating?”

“Not if you do not want me there. I and the other’s can stay on board.”

“I would prefer that. I need to take Elphin and Le’en with me.”

“I understand. Until the ceremony one of us will be with you at all times.”

“Thank you, sir.”

“No sir when we are alone.”

“Thank you, Macon”

Over the com the pilot announced to the ship that they will be landing in ten minutes. Jayla will do what is required of her and she will do what the captain suggested. She will let her beast lead her.

Well it is time for the meeting and mating. That will be posted later today, so make sure you keep an eye out for it. Any comments are appreciated and star if you like when the story is heading.
