What is up with Fia?

Hello my fire starters. I hope all of you are keeping that fire burning. I wanted to give you all a bit of what are you are up to post.

So I am trying my hand at murder, mystery story. I do not want any of my followers to think I am going to stop writing my fantasy, or erotic stories. At the moment I have invested a lot of my time in a fantasy mystery book. Which I hope to finish by the end of spring.

But “The Eight O’clock Train” post seemed to want to come out. It is happening in today’s world. No fantasy ,so I am going to push my imagination to it’s  limits. Where will it go. ARRG!

The call of the Dhamper is still going and I am pleased with it. There is an end to that story but I am still developing the characters which is hard when I did not want it to go on too long.

Also I will be announcing something very soon that I hope will be received by people well. We will see. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Right?

So that is all so far. Keep the fire burning Fire starters. Fia xoxo

No harm in asking? {Tcotd pt 18}

The coffin door opens with the rusted squeak sounding her awakening. Yes Abella has fully recovered to be greeted by pitch darkness of her empty chamber.

She had slept for days with no blood to her speed her recovery. That was alright. Her rage kept her going. She came up with a plan that will make everything she ever wanted happen. Now what she needed at that very moment was to feed.

She climbed out of her bed and went straight to her window. She knew Makalo was punishing her still with not having blood ready for her. It did not deter her. She could her a couple in the forest about two miles out.

“I have to get fresh blood.” she said with her distended incisors.

Hunger propelled her to her meal. She watched from the distance to see if they were alone or if anything out of the ordinary about the two. Other than them being in the forest.

“Shaun can you get the Neosporin out of my bag. I gotten scratched when we went for the hike.”

“Ok.” He said from the tent.

“Excuse me.” Breathing heavily. “Would either of you spare some water? I have to get to town and I ran out.”

The lady stood from shock of Abella’s appearance. She did not look like a normal hiker. Her cheeks were sunken in and she looked ashen.

“Miss keep on going to town. We have no water to spare.” Shaun said as he walked over to his wife.

“That is terrible. I mean to die of thirst is a terrible way to go don’t you think?”

“Miss please go.”

Abella began to walk past them into the woods. She did not turn back to see them watcher her. There was no need. She was behind them.

Abella knock the man out and sinked her teeth into the female. She drank as if her blood was the sweetest thing on earth. With every gulp her beauty returned. She felt her dried up bosom swell with youth. She released the half unconscious female and went to the male.

Her lips coated with the dried blood of his wife she kissed him on the cheek as if to say, Goodbye.” Then she found the strong pulsating jugular and delve in.

She knew she was making noises similar to a pig enjoying it’s meal. It had been a long time and she needed to look her best.

After she had her fill she did not kill them. She needed help in the mortal town. She will erase all Makalo’s sympathizer’s. She looked at the moon and gaging it’s position the night was still young.

She implanted what she needed done and left them both in the woods making sure no one else came across them but their joined blood aroma.

Abella went back to her chamber to be greeted by a servant she had never seen before.

“Who are you?”

“The master sent me to you, I am Stephanie. He said you will need help getting ready for tonight.”

Abella’s had a puzzled look on her face.

“He said you would not recall that your daughter’s birthday was today since you slept so long.”

“Oh, yes I had forgotten.” Abella hated being left in the dark.

“Well let’s get on with it. Where did Agnes go?”

“All the old servants had been let go. We all have been working here for a month now.”

So that was it. It did not matter she still will get what she wanted.

The trek seemed never ending since Leo had turned up the intensity on Creya.

Creya was getting a bit annoyed by all his pawing and catching her off guard kisses.

Adorjan wanted to kill the vampire but he pulled that back but if he kept pushing he will wish he was dead.

“Ukr house is up that hill. Are you ready Jan?” Creya asked

“Well I am. To sleep on a bed at last. maybe I would be joined tonight?” Leo said looking longingly at Creya.

“Your not my type. I guess you sleep alone.” Adorjan said as he walked passed and pushed his shoulder. Creya chuckled from the interaction.

Tonight will be the night that Leo will push Creya away from him. He knew that it was a possibility to loose her friendship but the damn Add to dhampir has his hormones in tight control.

The hike up was not that difficult. They did not expect to see a three story home on a mountain away from civilization.

There was a fence that held goats and sheep.  they walked up to the log house and felt as if they had walked into clear molasses.

“There is a protection spell around the house.” Leo said.

Creya knocked on the door for it to be opened by a rather large, portly man. He had what looked like the remnants of her swooped across his left eye.

“What do you need?” The large man asked.

“The Crimson Light.” Adorjan blurted out. Having Creya and Leo look at him as if he had twelve heads.

“Well that is the first time someone was so honest and I did not have to go after them with a truth spell.” He said chuckling.

“Come inside before you invite the sheep in.”

The three walked in to an impressive home. The ceiling was almost non existent. The living was huge and it seemed that the kitchen was a mile away.

A short woman with a huge smile and missing teeth walked up to them and ask what they would like to drink.

“Anything you have is fine with me, as long s you can chase it with liquor.” Creya said

“Do you have AB- on tap?”

“Yes of course. What do you take us for?”

“And you?” She said looking at Adorjan which seemed to be awe struck.

“Just water thank you.”

“Why don’t you all come in and have a seat. No need to stand around.” The gentleman said.

“So welcome to my home. I am Ukr and that was my wife minn.” He said.

‘It was an odd pair but love can be a little crazy at time.’ Adorjan thought.

“Can we get the Crimson Light?”

“Nice of you to ask young lady. But no.” Ukr said with a smile.

So we have finally found Ukr. Abella is up and about with a fiendish plan. How are you enjoying it so far? Please like and invite friends to enjoy. Let me know how you like it. I won’t burn ya. lol Until next we meet Fia xoxo

Have you lost your Mind(2)

I do not own picture

Hello everyone and do I have a “have your lost your mind” incident.

Today I had an errand to run and of course I usually get a little lost when the streets cut off and a building is where I need to be.

As I was waiting for the light to change on the side walk. Across the street a woman with a baby carriage was opposite me. The light changed and she pushed the stroller off the side walk and I do not know what posses her but instead of walking she stopped. She started looking in the bottom of the stroller.

Now a truck was backing up and the guy who was directing him did not see her or the stroller. A yellow school bus started honking to get the mother and the truck drivers attention.  I was waving  my arms to get their attention as well.

The mother quickly realize the truck was not stopping and went back on the side walk saving herself and the baby.

Now I know you are all upset with the driver. I am as well but let’s give equal blame to mom. Why would she stop right there!

What do you think about that? Is it equal blame or not. Love to hear your thoughts.

Challenges (Tcotd{chpt 16})

I do not own this picture.

Waking up on the cold ground with a centipede crawling across his face  Adorjan woke up with a start. Slightly disoriented and a pounding headache Adorjan took a quick glance at the scenery.

“Do you need to feed?” A male voice asked coming from behind him.

“I don’t feed. I’m not a vampire.”

“No, you are not Dhampir and take down that tone of disgust in your voice or I will leave you here to deal with the blood lust that will eventually strike you.”

Adorjan did not like the tall red headed man. As a matter of fact he felt aggressive towards him. “Where is Creya?”

“She had to take care of some personal things. She will return.”

As adorjan turned, Leo heard his stomach growl from hunger.

“You need to feed. If it is not blood at the moment then it is food.” Leo went to a sachel that lying on the ground by the oak tree. He pulled out a dried peice of meat and handed it to him.

“Eat this it will curb your hunger.”

Adorjan took the meat and took a bite. It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t the best but it did the trick.”Thank you.”

“Ah finally manners. Your welcome. Have a seat and let’s talk for amoment before Creya returns.

He didn’t like where this was headed but he did what he was asked.

“Look I was asked to accompany you and Creya for a while just in case you start with your blood lust. I will do what I was asked but if you attempt to bite and drain Creya I will put you down.”

“How are you planning to do that? By punching me in my back  again?” He asked as he took another bite.

“No I will rip your jaw off your face then I will stake you.” Leo said with all the seriousness that the situation required.

“You can leave. I am not going into blood lust.”

“You had your first taste of blood a couple of days ago. You bit into a couple of guys in that fight and your telling me your not feeling that pull? That burning sensation that tells you your ready to feed?”

“No I don’t. I’m a dhampir remember not a full blooded vampire.”

“Well I will stay around awhile just in case I am needed. From time to time I will have to leave to feed.”

Adorjan noticed the incisors and the slightly longer than normal fingernails. They both jumped from the rustle they heard coming from the woods. Pulling him out of his train of thoughts.

Leo sat back down first. “It’s just Creya she’s tring to get the drop on me. Sit and let’s see what she come up with.”

It must be some kind of game the two engaged in. It bothered Adorjan that she did this but he had no right to feel this way. He sat there and ate his food.

A squirl ran up a tree causing the birds above them to take flight. Suddenly their attention was drawn to  a large crack from a broken stick coming from the left of them. What emerged from the woods was a dirty old man in tattered clothing and dirt on his teeth. They both sat still and was about to get up, when Creya jumped from the top of the tree and landed on Leo’s back.

The old man went back into the woods, to where ever it was he came from and Creya tried her best to knock Leo down. Finally Leo flipped her over his sholder causing her to land on four feet.

“I almost had you.” She said while breathing heavily.

Leo looked at her and smiled. “If that is your best form of attack I can rest easy tonight.”

“Wow, nice Leo.” She said as she stood up and dusted herself off. She stretched her arms above her head revealing a little bit of her flat stomach.

Adorjan looked at her and then at Leo and wondered what their relationship was.

“Jan you woke up finally. Did you eat yet?”

“Yeah. He gave me some dried meat.” He held it up for her to see.

“Ewww. I’ll go get us some food.”

“I can do it.”

“Just sit it will only take me a minute and you will slow me down.”

“In other words, stay.” Leo said with a chuckle.

“Leo stop trying to start a fight.”

There was that smile again. Adorjan can see this Leo was feeling more for her than she realized. Creya left before he could protest.

“So she calls you Jan, Huh? Are you two together?”

“Why? Do you want her?”

“A matter of fact, I do?”

Adorjan did not know what to say to that. The man blatantly was claiming Creya.

“So what I am saying is, if you want her I won’t make it easy.”

Adorjan just looked at the man and took another bite of the dried meat. he really did not like him.

Avos a school for pure bred vampires and where Makalo’s daughter had spent most of her life.

Makalo searched the  school for her until he finally found her. In the arms of a young vampire about to be bitten.

“Jaqueline what are you doing?” As he asked he snatched the boy by the neck and snapped it. Rendering him dead. At least for the moment.

“Father what are you doing? Why have you come?”

“Answer me now!”

“That was Mica and we are together.”

“Like hell you are. You are coming home right now.”

“What about Mica?”

“He is fine. If he is truly pure blood he will awaken shortly and if not good ridden.”

Makalo grabbed his daughter and took her to her room to get her things.

“Father I was going to tell you and mother about him since he want to be my mate.”

“NO!”

“What do you mean No?” Makalo could see himself in her anger and he felt a twinge of pride of her not backing down.

“I said no. You are already betrothed.”

“Undo it.”

“No. Get your things before I snap your neck.”

She was seething with anger but she did as she was told.”

“I will stake myself if I don’t let me and Mica mate.”

That was it, he had a lot to deal with and she was not to be part of the problem. Makalo walked to his daughter and snapped her neck to knock her out. It will be a heavier load to carry back but he had no other choice.

So I hope you are liking the first inkling of love and confrontation. If so let me know. Star if you like and follow. Until next time keep it burning.

Anger Unleashed {TCOTD(cpt14)}

Abella never felt her heart beat. Normally if it did beat at all it was slow and non audible to the human ear. The sound of Makalo’s foot steps coming close the her chamber door jump started the beat.(Still not normal since they are dead)

The door slammed opened with such force that the wall cracked behind it. Abella knew he was upset but she had never seen him this way before.

“She was tried by the eternal nine and found guilty.” Abella said in a low tone as if she was talking to a feral animal and trying to keep it calm.

“You have no authority to call the nine.” He said through seething teeth.

“”Mimi wanted to be judged. I agreed to it.”

Her answer did not cool his raging anger.

“I have indulged you for too long.” Makalo swung his hand out and it landed across her face. Causing her lip to split and bleed.

“I will pass judgment on you. I decree you suffer the same fate as you accused mimi of.”

“You have lost your mind? I am your mate.”

“You should be happy to be burned. I can claim the old law and stake you. Causing you to be immobile. Or I could finally be rid of you and chop your head off.” A dark light of pleasure crossed his eyes at her fear.

“I apologized if I hurt you in any way.”

Makalo power was beating against her skin. “If you hurt me? IF! Don’t worry Abella you will not die tonight by my hand but you will feel pain.”

Before she was able to say a word. She stood in the center of the eternal flame. Makalo had stripped her of her outer garments leaving her in her under clothes. The doors were shut and he stood on the balcony above her.

“I tried you Abella for falsly accusing mimi. In doing so your sentence shall be passed.”

Makalo don’t do this. Please” She begged.

He looked at her and pressed the lever letting the lava flow through the pit. The heat climbed and began to burn her. Higher and higher the lava rose the more she suffered and screamed. Her hair singed and boned began to appear.

Makalo grabbed her and took out of the chanber. Befor passing into dark sleep he whispered. “Abella you will die a horrible death and I hope I witness it.” She slipped into consciousness.

“Come to me and take her. Give her blood and put her away from the light.”

“Yes sire.”

Makalo practically dropped her body on the ground to be picked up. He knew he was not behaving properly for his people, he did not give a damn. Trapped into a mating with a sick creature as Abella had turned even him into a monster. Dreaming of way to kill her and how he would celebrate it.

He would have to wait. At least he bought Adorjan more time. That was the least he could do.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Creya made it back in time to see the six killers entering the place. Three from the front and three in the back door. She had to get to him without revealing who she was to the out side world.

Once they were fully inside she did a quick glance around to make sure no one could see her. No one was about. She ran toward the (inn) and allowed her hands and feet to transform. Allowing the claws to take purchase on the out side of the building. She scaled it in no time. She was outside of Adorjan’s window just when his room door was crashed into.

She seen Adorjan jump up as the first guy charged at him with club. He grabbed that arm and rotated one eighty to the right and you could hear it pop out the socket. The other’s wasted no time in charging at him.

Creya jumped through the glass window and grabbed the first man that crossed her path. She did not retract her claws. Instead she embedded it into the mans throat and ripped open. Leaving the flesh to hang and blood to spurt out.

Adorjan was being rushed by two short but husky men. One of them had a knife and it looked as if he managed to get a couple of good swiped at Adorjan.

Creya managed to kill two more of the bastards while Adorjan was trying to stay alive. When she seen the husky man to his left land a blow across his jaw it was her opportunity to take out the jerk on the right with the knife.

She slashed opened his back causing him to arch abnormally back from the pain. He turned with the knife still in his hand. Aiming it at Creya. He swiped at her but he noticed that his arm was not behaving properly.

She smiled realizing she severed a nerve and he was helpless. She pushed him to the floor. There was no sport in killing him it was better to let him suffer as an invalid.

Creya turned in time to see Adorjan land a nice upper cut on the second man. She stood off to side to see how he handled himself in a fight.

The man staggered back but recovered quickly and began to swing wildly at Adorjan. He duck and moved out of the way of the swings and suddenly with out warning he managed to grab the man by the throat and bit into him.

Creya was worried. This was definately a sign that his hunger is starting to open up and she needed to find Leo soon. She seen the other man’s body start to fall limp. She had to get him off before he drains him dry.

“Jon let him go. You cant drink from the dead.” She tried her best to pull him off but it was not working. A tall man with a head full of fire red curls pulled Adorjan off  the dieing man and knocked him out.

“I see I found you guys first.”

“Yeah what took you so long?”

“Later, let’s go. More are coming.” He looked at the floor to see the man Creya left to bleed out moaning on the floor.

“Creya end him. Stop being a brat and kill him already.”

She went over to him and kicked his head causing it to snap back and kill him.

“There are you satisfied.”

Leo pick Adorjan up and the trio left. Barely missing the mob of men on their way to kill them.

If you like the story comment and star. Until next time.

The call of the Dhampir chpt 7

The day was never kind to the dead and it will never be. Makalo fought against his infernal desire to sleep waiting for news about Adorjan.

The messenger had arrived with his normal over the top flare of smoke and glowing eyes. That would normally make Makalo laugh but not this day.

“Lewin what’s the information on Adorjan?”

Lewin could tell Makalo was not very pleased with his entrance and he would normally do something else to get a smile out of him but his aura deterred that thought.

“My prince, Adorjan has made it to the city and we have lost sight of him once he entered that witch home.”

“You mean he’s at Amorisa?”

“Yes.”

“Hopefully he will get himself out of there.”

“Would you like fo us to assist?”

“No, that witch is more powerful than she may look. I can not assist him. With every trial, he encounters it will strengthen him.”

“As you wish.”

“Lewin keep your eye on him.”

“Yes, my prince.”

“After I wake tonight I will be taking a little trip to the island. No one must know where I have gone. Find me there in two day’s time and give me a report on his progress.”

“You have faith that he will get out of the witches lair?”

“Good day Lewin, now be off and before you leave to destroy the two males that watched you come into my room.”

Lewin had a look on his face that showed he did not see anyone watching him.

“One was hidden behind the stable entrance and the second was carrying the linen to Abella room.”

“At once. Good day.”

Makalo hoped he will get free from Amorisa

Adorjan could not sleep in the strange house. For some reason, something was urging him to leave.

“Adorjan leave. Do not trust Amorisa.” A soft voice said. He abruptly rose off the bed and grabbed his satchel. He opened the door and made his way back down towards the entrance.

“So I will finally get that precious blood, jorra.” She said but to who?

Adorjan peeked around the corner and seen a little Persian cat curled up on the arm of a chair. The cat notices him looking and it signaled Celestie that she was being spied on.

“So, Adorjan I guess you were not that tired at all. Would you like to have something to eat?”

“What do you want with my blood?”

Amorisa stood up and jorra her cat jumped down and walked over to her spot at the window.

“What did you hear?”

“You want my blood and I want to know now why?”

“Why do you think? You are a child of a vampire and a gypsy. Your blood is powerful and I mean to have allot of it.”

“You mean to drain me?” Adorjan said staring at her.

“Adorjan why don’t we come inside and we can discuss this.”

Adorjan went straight to the door and it was locked. “Open the door Amorisa.” He said through clenched teeth.

“Why would I do that?” She kept moving closer and Adorjan kept her in his sight.

“I will say it one more time. Open the door.”

“Or what? You have been living with your mother and my sister in the woods all your life. You think you’re a threat to me?”

Adorjan went back to the door and he focused on the door nob. He tried to remember what his yaya had taught him. He could hear Amorisa move closer to him and time was running out.

“What are you trying to do?” She said through a laugh. “No one can get out of my spell.”

One more second and he heard the click. Amorisa stopped when she saw the door open.

Adorjan gabbed his bag and ran out of the house and looked at her from the other side of the gate.

Amorisa tried to go after Adorjan but once she stepped out from the house she screamed.

“What deal did you make? You sold your life away and you were willing to drain me for what?”

Amorisa turned and slammed the door behind her. Adorjan did not think he wouldn’t have someplace to stay. He made his way back to the dock and luck had it that the twins boat was still there. Now the catch was to figure out where they were.

Adorjan decided just to wait for them on the boat. He found a stop where he placed his satchel down so he could rest his head. He never slept heavy so someone thinking that they could creep up on him will be surprised.

He looked up at the sky and thought of his mother and his yaya. Their teachings saved his life. He never thought he would have to worry about his own family trying to kill him.

As he bagan to doze off a bird flew off towards the moon. “Odd. I would never guess that black birds flew so far across the sea.”

__________________________________________________________________________________________

The bird flew to its mistress to inform her of what the abomination was up to. Abella recovered from the atrocities that was inflicted on her by the ancient.

She was seething from her anger towards how Makalo. The way he acted as if she caused this on her self. She did not have a child with a human or another vampire, he did.

“Mother, I need to speak to you.”

Abella’s bedroom door was swung opened wide as a young woman with deep, crimson hair that cascade down her exposed shoulders.  A set of perfect bowed lips painted as if she used paint lacquer on them. The shine from it drew attention. But nothing could take away from her eye’s. There was no denying that she was the daughter of Makalo.

“What is it?”

“I want to go to the village tonight. Niece told me that unless you give the ok I can not go.”

“That is correct.”

“Really mother?” She said sarcastically

“I am a pure blood. I am stronger that a horse, let alone a mortal. I want a sip of fresh blood. We have not gone out in ages and I crave it.”

Abella knew how strong she was and that frightened her. Everyone dare not tell her that she killed her true mother or face the rath of the prince. She came to love her as if she had her, herself.

“We shall go tomorrow night. I want to take you some place special. Can you wait until then?”

“Special?” Her eyes showed her brain mulling things over. “Okay I can wait another night.”

“Until then have you decided who you want to mate?”

“Not this again. I am to young and I am just enjoying being. I don’t want to be ruled over. I am going to the gardens. I will see you tomorrow then mother.”

She leaned over and she could smell that niece rubbed roses through her hair as she gave her a kiss on the cheek. As she turned to leave the black bird flew through the window. The young vampire was not surprised to see the bird. She thought that was her mother’s weakness. Her dependency on those beasts. She stormed off the same way as she walked in. In a storm

” Now tell me what you know.” Abella commanded the bird.

So Adorjan narrowly missed getting killed. The red-head is holding to her nature and Abella is not letting up. If you like please star it and comment. Until next time. Fia xoxox

The call of the Dhampir chpt 5

th1ZG68X8R

Not every night has clear skies and a bright moon. No, not every night, especially not tonight.

Adorjan had waken to complete darkness. The wooded creatures were very vocal and their was not odd feeling that something was a miss as he slept. He decided that he should make his way to the shore that night. It was just a few hours away and he knew he had to cross the water’s to get to his destination.

The little water town of Atal was celebrating the big catch the ships had brought in. There was music and dancing where ever you turned. Adorjan made his way to one of the boats that was docked and noticed a young man tieing the boat to a large tree pole.

“Excuse me, can you tell me if I can purchase a ride across the sea.”

The young man laughed and did not bother to turn around. “Why go across the sea? Tonight is the night to be frivolous and be at ease.”

“I can see that and I am willing to wait until the morning.”

The young man turned around and he held a smile on his face that could convince any young woman of innocence as he proceed to convince them to do anything but innocent things.

“I have not seen you in Atal before. Are you visiting family or did you make a mistake and listen to those old drunkards and they convinced you to come and make your fortune on the sea?”

Adorjan could not help but smile at the young man asking him questions.

“Since you seem so interested. I lived off the town of Newer Town and I have decided to make a life for myself across the sea. Now can you direct me to the captain of the boat so I can purchase a ride?”

“I tell you what. Tonight there is no moon in the sky and no self-respecting sailor will go out on such a night. Since you say you will wait until morning you might as well wait with me.”

“But you still have not given me the name of the captain of the boat.”

“I did not. My name is Binx Jewel and this is my boat. You may come across another young man who looks similar to me his name is Bijoux. He is my younger brother by just a hair or two. As for the fee, I will mull it over as the night goes on. What say you?”

Adojan was not eager to mingle with people. His fear of being found out was bothering him greatly but he had to learn to fit in if he was going across to sea.

“That sounds good.”

“I fail to get your name?”

“So sorry, My name is Adorjan Szabo.”

“Alright , now lets eat, drink and see what the night unfolds.”

Brinx slapped Adorjan on the back and lead him into the town.

=========================================================================

The night had stretched into the morning. One by one the people of the town Atal went into their homes for the rest of the night.

Brinx went off with a red-headed young woman over hour ago and Adorjan decided to sit under an old tree, a little away from everyone and get some rest.

“Is there something wrong with you?”

Adorjan stood up quickly to see were the voice was coming from.

“Come out, do not hide.” He said out loud.

“Who said I am hiding? You just have not seen me as yet. Look up into the tree you were about to sleep under.”

There was a young woman laying on a branch. Her face was hidden by the darkness.

“Why are you up in the tree? Why are you not at home for the night?”

“The world is my home and this branch as long as it holds is my bed. What is your reason ,why are you not in for the night? Is there something wrong with you?”

“No there is not. Why do you ask?”

“Every young man has found a young woman to bed for the night. Yet you sleep alone under the stars.”

“Well since your up in the tree were I am about to sleep under. Who said I am alone.?”

“Quick wit.” She said as it sounded as if she was smiling, since he could not see her face.

“I’m Adorjan and your name is?”

“Creya. Well goodnight bed fellow.”

“Goodnight Creya.”

The dawn came quick but not quick enough for Adorjan he was ready to cross the sea. He heard when the young woman climbed down and ran off towards one of the homes. He pretended to be asleep since she did not want to be seen.

He walked up to the boat Brinx had tied up and seen him walking around it looking at all the ropes that tied the long sheet to the pole.

“Good morning Brinx. I see that the red-head did not keep longer than the night.

Brinx looked at him as if he had two heads.

“So you met Brinx?”

“My apologies. You must be Bijoux. I had purchased a ride across the sea from your brother.”

“I see and how much did he charge?”

“He did not name the price as yet. Can you tell me how much it would be?”

“Ten pence.”

“Ten seems a bit steep, but here you are.”

Out of nowhere a voice said,” Keep your money. We are going to the city anyway. Just help when we need it and that will pay for your trip.”

Brinx climbed aboard and walked pass his brother.

“Brinx, that is why we make next to nothing. We need to charge.”

“Bijou he has next to nothing to his name.If we do good then good things will come back to us.,”

Adorjan could not tell them apart visually but their personalities shown their true colors. Either way he had his ride and his quest was on its way.

In the shadow of the tree he slept under, the young woman who slept on the branch kept watch. She was to report to the prince of his son’s were abuts. She was not a vampire or slave.

She did what she was asked because a promise she had given to the prince a very long time ago and she always keeps a promise.

Makalo received word that Adorjan had booked passage to the city. He could not help him or the rest of the vampire nests will see it as a weakness. But he will keep track of his progress.

He had to be the chosen. He had to live.

So my fire starters Adorjan is on the move across the sea. What is he chosen to be? Isn’t he an abomination? If you like it so far hit like and tell a friend. It’s a great compliment.

Makalo felt the shift in the house when Abella returned. He was in his library sitting on his ninetieth century throne when the shift occurred.

He put down his memoir of his life two centuries ago and rose from his comfort to greet his absent mate. He could have waited until she fully recovered from the ordeal she had to endure, but why she he? There was no love between them that he had to show such compassion.

He went to her chamber to be met face to face with her trusted guard who seemed a bit (ashined) himself.

“Is Abella awake?”

“the guard bowed and answered, ” No my prince.”

“That is alright. You may leave and feed. I do not seem to recall your name?”

“I am Artimus Cello, my prince.”

“Who sired you?”

“Abella, my prince.”

He nodded with understanding and walked past him opening the door to her chamber. Abella was laid out straight with her dark chestnut hair around her. Her pallor was grey and yet he felt no compassion towards her.

“Awaken Abella.” He commanded.

Abella slowly opened her eye’s to the prince’s command.

“I hear that you visited the ancient to get some information.”

Abella tried her best to sit up but her body felt heavy from the lack of blood.

“Yes.”

“was the price you paid equivalent to the information you received?”

She cast her eye’s down, knowing he knew the ordeal she went through.

“I should ignite the damn parchment. You gave yourself to what we consider an unclean ancient to kill my offspring. Yes I know what you retrieved.”

“Why should you car who I give myself too. You have not visited my bed in centuries. Instead you go to the cattle. Why punish me over something you are not interested in.”

“You are correct. I will never go to your bed. By law your infidelity is enough for me to kill you, but I gave my word to your father I would not.”

“You wont burn the parchment will you.”

Makalo looked at his mate with a look of pure anger and disgust.

“I will not burn the parchment. I will let things go as written.”

Adella kept her eye’s casted down as she whispered,” What have I ever done to you to hate me so much?”

“You really want that answer?”

“Yes,my prince.”

“You were created.” He turned around and walk toward the door. “I will allow this transgression once. Do you understand?”

“Yes” she whispered with her head still bowed. She would have shed tears if she was not drained.

I feel as if I have not given you the necessary back ground information on the mating of Makalo and Abella. That story needs it’s own blog to give you the complete synopsis. But I will tell you that the mating of the two was arranged and enforced by the former Prince Lacume. He wanted a unification of the second strongest vampire nests in the world. Makalo had his sights on Nikila. Abella’s youngest sister. They had met secretly and planned to make the announcement of their mating. Abella found out and secretly planned the death of her youngest sister, Makalo’s first and only love.

Adorjan walked endlessly in the woods around the small towns. Making sure not to go onto property and spooking the animals.

He slept sparingly. He did not need much sleep as his sire but he also did not sleep as much as his mother. He ate what he trapped and cooked the meat. Never well done just a slight char to give it flavor.

When he did sleep he rarely dreamed. Unfortunately, tonight was not one of them. He was walking down what looked like a dark hall. At the end of the hall was a small glass floating in the center of a square room.

The light that was being cast was from a candle at the far left of the room. H walked up to the bowl and inside was a clear order less fluid. He took it and drank. Instantly is insides burned and his eyes bled.

Adorjan woke with a start. He knew that was a foreboding as his yaya would say. He made a note to remember the dream. His life may depend on it.

So my Fire starters are you hooked? I hope your enjoying it so far. Please like and comment. fia xoxox
