Orick stood out side the door scanning Ramona thoughts. He wanted to know if she was ready for what was about to happen. What he seen astounded him. Her thoughts ran so quickly that he had a hard time despairing what she was thinking.

He was about to knock when the door opened and one of the royal dressers walked out with a questionable look on her face. She did not verbally communicate what she was thinking, but projected it.

Ramona was in a silent trance like state while she was helping her dressed. It disturbed her how silent she was. Orick wanted to tell the King that this was going to be a disaster. Before he could turn Ramona stood in front of him dressed in the royal colors.

Her hair was down and shown waves of different colors of brown. Her lips was slighted tinted as were her cheeks. What stood out was her eyes. The color of the ocean green but the intensity that was behind them.

“Are you well?” He asked

“Perfectly. Let us go.”

She walked as if she was born to there style of foot wear. It made her hips sway almost in a hypnotic figure eight. The dress was fitted to flatter and yet to show less skin than it was necessary so it did not distract for the issue at hand.

She walked into a room that the the king, two other guards and beautiful young woman who looked terrified of her fate.

“First Sergeant I hope you have acquired enough to get us to a mutual understanding.”

Ramona stood in front of the king and slight bow. She managed not to ball her fists.

“I am ready.”

The king observed her calm demeanor and could not smell any fear or anger coming off of her. It made him take pause.

“This is my daughter. Sineza.”

Ramona looked at her and bowed as well. But she looked at her and gave her a wink.

The king and Orick seen the slight exchange and did not understand it’s meaning. Maybe she was not well.

“Shall we?”

The King turned and walked before all and went into the grand room where all things are discussed and solved.

The Wai King was already there with three guards and a man standing beside him who must have been his son. Much too old for the young woman.

Orick went in-between the two kings and spoke.

“We have come to the grand room to solve a problem as our forefathers have before us. We call First Sargent Ramona Carrilla to be our negotiator in this matter.”

A guard for the other side stepped in front of Orick and spoke.

“We Wai agree to this meeting and call our negotiator First Sargent Calvin McShan to speak for our people. “

She has heard of Calvin and no doubt he has heard of her. She was ready.

They both went to the center of the grand room and stood staring at each other. They were waiting for the traditional bell before the negotiations.

The bell rung and Calvin began not letting her get the upper hand. He spoke of traditions and honor. Of one’s word being sacred as the earth they live one and concluded that withdrawing the agreement was a dishonor to their people.

It was Ramona turn. She spoke of times that passed and wars fought. That the agreements and customs that were created then was not meant to be carried on forever but to be developed into something better than what it’s originally meant for. As the earth they live on changes so must it’s people.

The Wai king shifted. Nonilla noted it and was pleased. This female was cunning.

“Yes I agree things change but if there is not foundation on which this change can be based on, then we will crumble. In saying this. The prince claims the right of marriage as the foundation of this world has been built on.”

Ramona smiled and Calvin looked angered.

“The prince claims the right of marriage you say as the foundation of this world has been built on. The princess accepts no claim as it is written in the Texuitra. The foundation of the people, which you claim to know is built on.

The Iwipoo do not want to dishonor the Wai. In offering the water for exchange for the earth is still offered.”

“How can this agreement be sealed if not on the wedding bed and innocents blood shed?”

That was it. Innocent blood shed Calvin said. He sis not know what his words unleashed. Ramona spoke in the Wai dialect.

“King of the Wai, your people are like the spring that flows and gives life to all. With out the water there would be great suffering and deaths of innocents. The earth is also needed to nourish the body and the soul. Earth and Water are the power and heart of both people. Yet when one is with held the other suffers. Your son may take any willing innocent from the Wai and keep the blood line strong. But the arrangement that was agreed upon before there birth it as old as the old waterway that has been destroyed by the great fire god.

Now fertile land is offered to you and your people for generation of use in exchange for water. This is better than one night of innocent blood, Do you not agree King.”

The room fell silent. The King of the Wai agreed to what was offered the marriage was called off. Nonilla was amazed as the fire and knowledge that she wielded like talons into the Wai throats.

Once the papers were drawn up and signed. Ramona went over to Calvin to shake his hand.

“Good debate McShan.”

“Yea. How did you know so much about them?”

“I studied.”

“You have to admitted my innocent blood was brilliant.”

Romana smiled nodded and punched him across the jaw. Laying him out cold in the grand room. She looked up and bowed to the Wai king and turned to walk towards the Iwipoo.

Nonilla was shocked by what he has just seen and stirred his beast. ‘She will be good to warm our bed.”

He shook the thought out of his head. She is not their kind.

The Wai prince found the human intriguing and wanted her. He is glad to be rid of the young iwipoo. His sight was set on the female Ramona.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The iwipoo went to another room in the Kings home. The king and Orick spoke silently before addressing Ramona.

“I want to thank you for what you have done. The king has decided for your service you will have the home on the west field. He thinks you will be happy to live your life out there.”

“Excuse me I did what you have asked. Now I will go on my vacation and leave this lovely planet to you.”

The looked at her as if she is crazed.

“First Sargent you have read our history. You know who and what we are. You will never be able to leave.”

“I read your history that is mixed with fairy tales and folk lore. It is no cause for me to stay.”

“You do not believe?”

“What that your people are dragons. No it is not possible. Delusional but physically not possible.”

The beast in the king clawed to be free. It was angry at the female and will not tolerate her ignorance.

Orick seen the anger stirring in the King. If she truly did not believe she will in just a moment because King Nonilla was transforming before their eye’s.

Ramona stood there and watched as the King physically transformed before her into a beast of legend. Then it all went black.

So she won and she seen the beast. But in the processes she attracted another. What is to happen to her now? Comment and like. Fiaxoxo

Deragona Planet (Iwipoo Warriors)What can a female Do?

Nonili sat at the head of the rectangular table, staring the female down. None of the women of their kind would dare speak to a male that way. Let alone him. He has heard about these females and he did not like what he was told.

The Iwipoo female were attractive, attentive and caring. They do not enjoy going out to do what is a males role. They are educated in all things so they can teach the off springs they had. Not one of them wanted to join the men in battle or on the hunt.

When they feel that they have been wronged in some way it would be addressed immediately without tones being raised to a level that would irritate a males ears.

No, this outsider did not know about these things. She dressed in male uniform that shows the distinction that she is female only by her physical make up. She stood straight with her arms to her side which emphasized her breasts and waist.

She was covered from the neck down in dark colors that seem to take away color from the skin. For some reason her ears were a tint of red though. She seemed annoyed yet she waited before she spoke.

“You have my name and what it it that they call you?” Nonili asked.

She did not like what he said he could tell. So did the others in the room.

“I am First Sargent Ramona Carrilla. I am a linguistic negotiator and I am not an it. Your Highness.”

This female is stirring something between ripping her head off and feeding it their young and intrigue. She should feel afraid but she she did not give off that scent. Others of her kind that had come would scent strongly of fear or attraction.

“Welcome first Sargent. My name is Orick and I am the kings battle guard. You were sent here to help negotiate a treaty between the Iwipoo and the Wai.”

“What is on the table?”

We all looked at the table in confusion. A slight smile appeared and disappeared just as quickly.

“What is needed by your people and what are you willing to give in exchange to their people?” She stated looking at Nonili in the eyes.

“They have control of the springs and the water and we need this in order to survive.”

What are your willing to exchange?”

They all looked at the king for the answer.

“A quarter of our most fertile land.” Orick said looking at her intensely. It seemed that something was being with held and she was not in the mood for games.

She stood there and contemplated the exchange. “This sounds like a reasonable trade. What is the reason I am here?”

“They do not want the land.”

“What is the demand?”

“They want for the kings first born to be mated to their kings first born.”

A flash of anger went across her eyes. Nonili caught that.

“Is that the way of your people or are you breaking with tradition?”

The room took in a collective breath.

“How did you come to this?” Orick questioned her.

She stood there and explained the history of other planets and how wars were started because of the very same thing. She said she will help in the negations but she needed a day to go over the Iwipoo and Wai history before approaching the Wai.

“It will take you a day?” The king asked

“I take in information quickly and I generally know what to do with in a day.” She said confidently and rather put out.

Nonili stood and commanded the room to leave. Once the door was shut he storm to Ramona and stood in front of her.

“What are you? You have a neutral scent. No fear or attraction hormone. You give off anger and annoyance.”

“With do respect I was told I would be on vacation not another negotiation. So yes I am angry. Also you seem not to like or respect the females of my kind and since I feel that, I do not need to like you.”

Nonili fought the beast inside for dominance. She did not know what they were or she would react differently. She will learn and she will fear. Or she will die. That he knew for certain.

“You will learn of our history and after all is said I will tell you what you have done to seal your fate.”

Romana stood there with fire in her eyes. He smelled something that pushed the beast harder against him. He looked down and seen that she had balled her fists so tightly they began to bleed. She did not know what she was doing.

“Sealed my fate? That sounds like a threat.”

“No. I do not need to do that. You will be escorted back to your living space to read our history. I expect you to be prepared by the sun rise.”

“I will be and after I will return to my planned vacation.”

The King looked at her and he wanted to feel pity for the woman, but he could not bring that emotion out.

“Orick!”

The guard returned and looked at his king.

“Take her back and make sure she is educated about out kind.”

Orick looked at his king to confirm what he heard. Nonili looked at him and he was clear. Once she knew she will not be permitted to leave.

“Yes my king.”

“mmmm”

My head hurt worst than the time I was hit by a zia thron toy. I ended up with a massive lump on my head but I survived it.

I managed to open my eyes to see two pairs of eyes in front of me. They were odd looking. Blue green in color and the pupils were slits like reptiles but then it changed to circular the more I stared into them.

"he puʻupuʻu paha kāna" (does she have a concussion?"

The voices sounded a bit muffled with a growl. I know that language but my heart hurt so bad that my thoughts were not focusing well. Once they notice that I aware enough , the eyes moved out of my view. I tried talking but nothing can out. What was going on?

“Ua pā ʻoe i kou poʻo” “You have hit your head”

I was getting annoyed that I could not speak. My head hurt but I willed a sound to come out of my mouth. I could hear that the talking stopped. I turned my head a little to the left and the room seemed to lost it’s stability or I have really hit my head hard.

They started to speak again in there language and I understood every word. the dialect was similar to the ones used on the Hawaiian Islands before the big tragedy. Now the remaining descendants still teach the language to their young.

“She is trying to move. Maybe we should let her rest in the deep sleep to heal more.” A female voice said at least it sounded female.

“We can not. Our leader is waiting to meet with her.”

“He does not know it is a female. He is expecting a male and she will not be welcomed.”

“Lani she is who we have and I was told she is the best in negotiations.”

They were told. I was set up. I am so going to kick Carl ass.”

“Hello, Where am I?”

“Welcome. You are on Deragones.”

“Deragones? I have not heard of this planet.”

I managed to focus on who I was speaking to. She stood at least a foot taller than me and had dark hair braided very tightly down her back. Her clothing seem to be loose fitting with bright swirl of color decorated across.

“How are you able to understand us? We were not able to set us the translator module in our main system.”

“I am a translator for many new species and I tend to pick up languages quickly. Now why was I taken here? I was told that I was going on vacation.”

“We do apologize. You destination was always to come here. Were are in need of your expertise in delegation or we may end up in a civil war.”

I looked at her then the other faces in the room. They seemed serious and concerned.

“I am not saying I will help but I will hear what is going on and see if my assistance is needed.”

They all looked at each other and I could tell they were now communicating on a different level,

“My name is Lani and I will escort you to meet with our leader. I must tell you that we were expecting a male.”

‘Owch’ I thought.

“Why?”

She did not want to say anymore and that did not bode well with me. We waited another hour until the room settled and I could think more clearly. They brought me something to drink that was sweet tasting and it gave me a bit of a boost without making me jittery.

Lani escorted me to their leader and I made sure I understood the custom enough that I would be able to address him properly.

We walked through a think and dense forest to get to the leaders head quarters.

It was surprisingly beautiful. the construction had the theme of the wooded area and dashes of technology. Technology that was still not were we are but they will get there soon.

Lani swiped here hand over a mirror and it vibrated letting them know we were out side.

The door was opened by a man who seemed battle and wore the scars proudly on his chest.

“Lani why do you not heal the scares so there skin would not hold it? I asked

“It is our way. We show the scares proudly.”

We were escorted into a room that held five males. At the head of the table must be the leader. So I did the courteous casting of the eyes and a low growl in my throat as Lani instructed.

“Who is this female?”

I looked up and the voice came from the right of the leader. A tall male with darkened skin and scars running across his throat. His eyes flashed from slits to pupils and I took it he was angry.

The female is here for the talks. She will help.”

“A female in the talks? We are cursed. We will be at war by dawn.”

“Excuse me . Since I am here to speak to the leader I do not see why you would have a say whether I help or not. Do not judge me with out seeing what I can do.” I said in perfect dialect.

The room fell silent and I did not care. I wanted to talk to the leader not his guard.

“Then speak since I am Nonili. The leader of the Iwipoo.”

He was pissed. Lucky for him so was I.

Hey fire starters so it seems that Ramona is not starting out on the right foot with the leader of the Iwipoo leader. It does not seem as if she cares either. If you like it so far let me know. Love to hear from you. Fia xoxox
