As peace is falling over the Iwipoo warriors. The Wai are preparing for the war that has been dormant for a decade.

The prince looked into the sky and seen a couple of his fiercest warriors in training formation. Wings extended and talons sharpened to perfection. His battle captain Loen was on the verge of putting his second in command down, when Mir swooped undetected and grabbed Leon tail giving enough of a distraction that Slin clamped down on Loen exposed neck.

The Loen bowed in defeat as they all landed and changed into their human forms.

The prince smiled with pride as he walked towards them.

“Wow Mir and Slin managed to take out the great Loen.”

The men bowed as he approached.

“Yes but you did notice it took two of them.” Loen said looking at his men.

In human form Muir was tall and lanky. His hair was shoulder length and copper brown. Slin was a bit shorter and stockier across the chest area. Hair cut close to his head revealing his family mark that lay beneath.

“So how goes it with the meeting. Are you to be wed to a Iwapoo?” Loen said with a slight distaste to his tone revealed. He did not hide his feeling when it came to that tribe.

“No, I am unwed due to a cleaver female that is not from this world.” He said with a smirk.

“Female?” Slin asked

“Cleaver?” Mir asked next

“Yes. I have decided that I want her.”

“Is she able to be with on of our kind. What is she other than female?”

“She is human. From one of those intrusive ships in the sky.”

“Well then she may have left and returned home.”

“No she has not. A little bird has told me that she read the secret text to best my negotiator. Now she is not allowed to leave. It is our law. I will come up with a plan to get her but that will not interfere with the war.”

“If you go after this female it will definatly start the war.”

“Yes. It will.” The prince said as he looked at his men.

Ramona was ready to go to her new home. She decided that as she was stuck on this planet she will at least take that long deserved vacation and relax a bit.

The door chimed before Orick entered. He was in his usual garb but he did not seem at ease.

“Is there something wrong?”

“Not at all. We have received your belongings and they are at your new home. The king has told me to inform you he will be sharing a meal with you tonight.”

Ramona felt uncomfortable. “Is this to be professional attire then?”

Orick did not understand what clothing had to do with a meal.

“You can dress how ever you deem fit. Shall we go.”

Ramona nodded and followed Oricks lead. Outside the palace the grounds looked vibrant with colors of green and gold. The birds that flew over head did not look like the ones on earth. Wings were thinner and tails long and flared.

She seen a young male pulling on and animal that looked strange. It had not eyes that she could see and it had a thick snout. It looked like a cross between a water buffalo and ant eater.

“Orick what is that the boy is leading?”

“That is the Kotup. It is very prized among our people. It gives it’s nourishment by milk to the young.”

As he was explaining it let out a strange noise that she felt vibrate through the ground.

“What did it do?”

“It emits a sound that cause the mikoo to come up and it will eat it.”

Ramona could only think that the mikoo is there version of wormes or ants. They walked for over an hour and came to a home that was close enough to the kings home but far enough for her to have privacy.

It was a nice size dwelling. It was one level but the scale of it could be considered as having two dining halls combined. She entered to see that the theme of the design tend to mimic the out doors. She may have to make some changes. Not to many but some.

Orick showed her all of the rooms and each room had a private bathroom.

The eating area was large and off to the side was smaller area to eat as well.

“The food will be arriving within the hour as you say. The main room has all your things in there. I will return with the king. So please make this your home?”

Orick left and Ramona looked around with a little fear in her stomach. Orick felt it and did not understand why.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

“Did she like her new home?” Nonilla asked as he stepped out of the bathing area.

“She seemed pleased. But there was a slight fear I sensed when I left.”

“Fear?”

“I did not stay to scan her thoughts.”

Nomilla gotten dressed in silence. He wore the teal and silver. It was rare that he did dressed fully to eat. He normally goes out for a flight after to burn off the food he consumed.

“You are quiet Orick. Speak your mind.”

“I am not at ease. You seem different since she has arrived and I just hope it does not cause a problem in the future.”

What he held back from saying was he did not want to go to war. They have had their spy and the intel about the Wai preparing for battle have been leaked out to the people. the marriage would have slowed down the danger. It would not stop it.

Nonilla turned towards his guard and patted him on the shoulder. “Let us have this evening and tomorrow we will discuss the matter of the Wai.”

Orick nodded. They left in silence and walked to Ramona’s home.

Normally the king would walk in but he wanted her to feel that her privacy was respected. So he waited until the door opened and Ramona stood there in a garment that was enticing, yet simple.

He hair was let down and the waves framed her features. He noticed that there was something on her eyes that was making the color standout. Her lips held a tint and shine to them.

“Come in please. They have just left and the food smells wonderful.”

The king entered then Orick. After she closed the door Orick noticed she was not wearing any shoes.

“Ramona you have forgotten to cover your feet.”

She smiled. “No I haven’t. I would walk this way in my quarte’s and since tis is my home I would do the same. Besides it prevents the floors from being messed up from the out side.”

Nonilla decided to take his shoes off and follow his host. Ramona smiled at his gesture. Orick refused.

“Would you both like something to drink?” She asked

They both nodded. Once she left Orick whispered. “I think we may need Lani to stay with her for a few days. She is uncomfortable being alone in this house.”

The king nodded his consent. He will try to make her feel welcome.

Ramona looked out the window recalling everything she had went through in the last couple of days. She was so angry that she was stuck on a planet that she never wanted to be on.

She felt Lani eye’s continually on her. She went into the cleaning unit and changed back into her uniform. Lani looked surprised that she did that.

“Why are you back in your, your clothing?”

“I am an officer and I will be leaving once I receive the call.” Ramona said coldly.

The soumd of the vid communicator went off and Ramona was there to answer it.

“Hello Comand—.” Her voice trailed off when instead of her commander she seen Carl.

“You son of slag. What have you done?”

“I have done nothing. You have gotten yourself in this predicament. Your drive to know how to beat your opponent at any means necessary gotten you stuck there.”

“You know what they are?”

“No and that is the agreement the counsel had struck with that race ages ago. We do not interfere and we do not dig into private affairs.”

Ramona felt steam rise from her collar as she realized that Carl had sentenced her to live with a race of, of dragons.

“Now you post has been given to Melami Osora. The commander was informed of the matter and she is disappointment that you would have gone to such extremes without realizing the ramifications of your actions.”

“RAMIFICATIONS! Carl when I see you again I will make you wish you that you never met me.”

“Oh mona. Never you still have not given me a piece of that bod of yours. As far as us seeing each other again. That I am pretty sure will not happen. Enjoy your new life lieutenant.”

The call ended. Lani had stepped out of the room but she heard every thing. She felt bad that she was tricked but she will try to ease her transition. She walked into the room and the female was still standing near the vid communicator.

“Are you well?”

“I need air. I need to run and clear my head.”

Her voice sound odd. almost high in pitch but controlled. “I can take you to the boarder lands. you can run along the stream. No one will bother you there.”

“Thank you give me a moment to change.”

Lani was smelling a mixture of emotions rolling off of her. It would be best to let her go through her process to grieve and acceptance.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Nonilli went about his day as usual. He stretched his wings and circled his land. He made sure everything was running smoothly.

He flew above all the other dragons so he can be alone. He did not know what to do with his new charge. She did not shift so she will not be like the other females. She will not be as strong as them either so he will need to find something suitable for her.

Then it struck him that she will be useful in educating him and to help him with an idea that will not cause another to be sentence to a life with there people against their will.

Pleased with his thoughts he noticed Lani flying below along the stream route. She was supposed to be with the human female.

He flew down next to her and mentally asked why was she not with the female.

Lani motioned her head down showing that the human was running along the stream. She tried to explained what happened and that she seemed to really want to exert her self to deal with her emotions.

He thought about how it must be affecting her. He thought to her, ‘bring her to me after.’

She shook her head and continued to watch as Ramona ran.

Nonilli turned and went back to his home to be greeted be Orick and a stack of work.

“Sire we have to get these signed and sent to the Wai so the agreement is binding,”

Nonilla shimmered back into form and grabbed his garment and tied it around his waist.

“Come then. Lets do this quickly. After I want you to have food placed in the new home of the lieutenant.”

Orick looked at him as if there was not food placed for her there. Also a generator that can simulate food if needed.

“Food is placed there already for her, sire?”

“Sorry bring food that I will eat there. I will dine there and return after.”

“Do you think that is wise. She seems to bring the beast out of you.”

“I will control myself. I am king. I will manage.”

“Well Lani and I will be there so just in case.”

He nodded and started to read over and sign the documents.

Orick needed to consult Torin. The elder of his line. She will be able to advise him on what is unfolding.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The run did her good. She was able to get her frustration worked out on the steep terrain. Since she was stuck her she decided to make the best of it.

Lani was in the room when she returned. Ramona had not seen her dragon and she wanted to be comfortable around them.

“Lani can I see your dragon form?”

Lani looked uncomfortable about the request.

“I am not sure that is a good idea.”

“Why? This is my home now I should get comfortable with the visuals.”

Lani started to wring her hands together in nervousness.

“You see our dragons have minds and emotions of there own and if they do not wish to come out then they don’t. We work together.”

Symbiotic union. Does she not want to meet me?

“She a bit snappy and I don’t want you hurt.”

“What do I do to show her I am not a threat. Or any of the dragons?”

“I am not sure. With our kind we bend our heads and expose our necks but your neck is small. I’m not sure.”

“Well let’s try it out.”

“If your hurt then I may get punished by the king.”

“Please. I have to learn. Now my neck is exposed since I wearing and tank top. I will bend my head and cover my eyes until I get the signal it’s ok. What would be the signal?”

“She will lick your neck and nudge you.”

“I’m ready.” She said but her adrenaline was racing and she needed to calm down. Animals on earth tend to get overly excepted when prey has allot of adrenaline pumping.

Lani walked near the balcony window and shimmered into her dragon. Ramona bent her head immediately and waited for the dragon to come near her.

She heard the claws scape against the floor towards her and the heavy breathing next to her. She kept her eyes closed and tried her best to stay calm.

She felt it sniff her neck for what seemed like an eternity and there it was a swift lick and nudge. Ramona reached out her hand to touch the dragon before seeing it. Then she opened her eyes.

Lani was beautiful. She shimmered a sea blue with gold flecks. He talons were curved and wings were very feminine looking. She looked at her to see what she was doing.

Ramona rubbed the side of her neck and Lani stepped back and shifted quickly.

“Did I do something wrong?

“You rubbed the side of her neck. That is too intimate. Confusing. She likes you and find you interesting. Lets keep the rubbing between us ok.”

Ramona really had a lot to learn.

“Does she have a name?”

“Yes she is luani. She will visit you again.” Lani giggled.

“What is funny?”

“She finds you like a small animal like your people keep.”

“A Pet!”

“Yes a pet. She likes you.

Sorry to end it here Fire starters. I will try to continue it tonight or this weekend. If you like it please let me know. Comment and like. Until nex we burnXOXO

Slowly the darkness was giving way to the light. Just before coming too she heard people talking as if she was still not lucid.

“Orick I have never heard of the King behaving that way before.”

“I agree. It’s this female. Ever since she arrived the King has been very, very–“

“Animalistic.”

“Yes. Now she has read all the texted and she has seen us in our true form she will have to stay.”

Ramona started to move to sit up. this is the second time she had woken up in this place with her head aching. She looked at the both of them and she seen that the female was very concerned and Orick looked put out.

“So I have seen you in your true form. Why does that matter? I should still be able to leave.”

The woman went over to the table and pour some water for her. “Please drink.”

“Once the sun rises I will take you to your home. Until then Lani will stay with you. You fell and hit your head very hard and the king wanted you to be watched.”

“Well if he did not startle me I would not have passed out.”

“Passed out?” Lani asked

“Loose consciousness. Thank you for bring me back here.”

Orick was fidgeting a bit and he did not look her in the eyes.

“It was you who brought me?”

“No. The king would not let anyone carry you so he brought you himself.”

“Really?”

“He is a kind king.”

“I have not really seen kindness. I seen arrogance and entitlement. No kindness.”

Orick and Lani looked at each other as if she should not have said that.

“I do have my own mind. I can have my own opinion.”

“I do believe you will need to be taught about us.”

“I learned about you remember. I studied your history.”

“I have not forgotten. But there are things that have evolved over time. Change as you said in the negotiations. You do have a right to speak your mind but be aware of what you say and how you say it and to whom. Those words could have you removed.”

“Good remove me and send me home.”

“No, no. Remove as not exists.” She said.

Ramona had had enough she was leaving. She stood up and realized she was still wearing her negotiation clothing.

“I need to speak to my superior. She will straighten things out.”

“The king has spoken to your people and they understand what you have done. They will contact you in the hour to tell you what is expected.”

“I don’t understand?”

Lani stood and held her hand. “You read the books, you seen our form, you violated the rule on none interference unless necessary. Your mind is brilliant. You could have one the negotiation with out the books. You choose to proceed after you were cautioned several times. You are one of our people now. You may never leave.”

The look in her eyes and the sincerity in her voice made it sound like the decision was final. Ramona will speak to her superior soon. this will all be fix. Nothing is so detrimental that it can not be fixed.

“I will leave the two of you. If you need anything please let Lani know and she will show you how to acquire it.”

Ramona nodded trying her best to keep her self together. Orick felt a wave of uncertainty roll off her. He mind was a jumble mess but she was trying her best to process it all.

Orick looked at Lani and nodded. Then left the two females. He need a strong drink. Then he needed counsel. He must speak to his grand father. He is the first to serve under this regime. He would know why the king is acting so strangely.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The Wai people were a calmer cousin of the iwipoo. They do not battle unless necessary. The Prince could not get the female from his mind. She was cunning. She was determined and fearless.

She held the qualities he would not mind having in his bed. She was a bit supple. Not as firm as their females. He did wonder if she would survive a mating.

“Son I am sorry you will not have a bride.”

“Father I went along with the tradition because you asked me too. But I did not want the child. She is not ready and I would have to wait until she has bloomed before taking her. I am happy to have not gotten that.”

The king looked at his son and knw where his thoughts strayed. It was on the female. If he was not mated he would have wanted her as well. There is something about her.

“I will see if she is willing to mate you. She will be part of the iwipoo people now. She is not leaving.”

Calvin sat quietly as he listened. He wanted to warn his competitor what was occurring but he will be leaving in the morning. He knew she trapped her self into her fate. But she did not want to mate this prince. He was not what he seemed.

There is darkness in him. He will find a way somehow.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The King staring out of his window. Looking over the hills. He never meant to do what he did. She just gotten under his skin.

She pushed back and it riles him. The female submit. They know there place. She goes against. He remembered the look of shock as her eyes widen to his true form.

Her eyes were pleasing and then she fell. He transformed back quickly to check on her.

Her skin was soft and warm. Her lips were parted revealing tiny teeth. Nothing sharp. Orick came over to pick her up and he growled at him. He never growled. Not even as a child. The room was shocked into silence. He lifted her and took her to her room.

She smelled different as well. Not like their females. He walked quickly and placed her on long pillow. She did not stir. He told Orick to stay with her. He will send Lani as well.

He did not want a male alone with he. No male.

He needed to fly to clear his head. She will leave his home and live in her own. That will be it.

So ladies and gents are you wondering what type of man the prince is? Or why the king is behaving badly? Maybe you feel for Ramona situation. Let me know. Comment and like. Tell a friend about me. Fia xoxo

Orick stood out side the door scanning Ramona thoughts. He wanted to know if she was ready for what was about to happen. What he seen astounded him. Her thoughts ran so quickly that he had a hard time despairing what she was thinking.

He was about to knock when the door opened and one of the royal dressers walked out with a questionable look on her face. She did not verbally communicate what she was thinking, but projected it.

Ramona was in a silent trance like state while she was helping her dressed. It disturbed her how silent she was. Orick wanted to tell the King that this was going to be a disaster. Before he could turn Ramona stood in front of him dressed in the royal colors.

Her hair was down and shown waves of different colors of brown. Her lips was slighted tinted as were her cheeks. What stood out was her eyes. The color of the ocean green but the intensity that was behind them.

“Are you well?” He asked

“Perfectly. Let us go.”

She walked as if she was born to there style of foot wear. It made her hips sway almost in a hypnotic figure eight. The dress was fitted to flatter and yet to show less skin than it was necessary so it did not distract for the issue at hand.

She walked into a room that the the king, two other guards and beautiful young woman who looked terrified of her fate.

“First Sergeant I hope you have acquired enough to get us to a mutual understanding.”

Ramona stood in front of the king and slight bow. She managed not to ball her fists.

“I am ready.”

The king observed her calm demeanor and could not smell any fear or anger coming off of her. It made him take pause.

“This is my daughter. Sineza.”

Ramona looked at her and bowed as well. But she looked at her and gave her a wink.

The king and Orick seen the slight exchange and did not understand it’s meaning. Maybe she was not well.

“Shall we?”

The King turned and walked before all and went into the grand room where all things are discussed and solved.

The Wai King was already there with three guards and a man standing beside him who must have been his son. Much too old for the young woman.

Orick went in-between the two kings and spoke.

“We have come to the grand room to solve a problem as our forefathers have before us. We call First Sargent Ramona Carrilla to be our negotiator in this matter.”

A guard for the other side stepped in front of Orick and spoke.

“We Wai agree to this meeting and call our negotiator First Sargent Calvin McShan to speak for our people. “

She has heard of Calvin and no doubt he has heard of her. She was ready.

They both went to the center of the grand room and stood staring at each other. They were waiting for the traditional bell before the negotiations.

The bell rung and Calvin began not letting her get the upper hand. He spoke of traditions and honor. Of one’s word being sacred as the earth they live one and concluded that withdrawing the agreement was a dishonor to their people.

It was Ramona turn. She spoke of times that passed and wars fought. That the agreements and customs that were created then was not meant to be carried on forever but to be developed into something better than what it’s originally meant for. As the earth they live on changes so must it’s people.

The Wai king shifted. Nonilla noted it and was pleased. This female was cunning.

“Yes I agree things change but if there is not foundation on which this change can be based on, then we will crumble. In saying this. The prince claims the right of marriage as the foundation of this world has been built on.”

Ramona smiled and Calvin looked angered.

“The prince claims the right of marriage you say as the foundation of this world has been built on. The princess accepts no claim as it is written in the Texuitra. The foundation of the people, which you claim to know is built on.

The Iwipoo do not want to dishonor the Wai. In offering the water for exchange for the earth is still offered.”

“How can this agreement be sealed if not on the wedding bed and innocents blood shed?”

That was it. Innocent blood shed Calvin said. He did not know what his words unleashed. Ramona spoke in the Wai dialect.

“King of the Wai, your people are like the spring that flows and gives life to all. With out the water there would be great suffering and deaths of innocents. The earth is also needed to nourish the body and the soul. Earth and Water are the power and heart of both people. Yet when one is with held the other suffers. Your son may take any willing innocent from the Wai and keep the blood line strong. But the arrangement that was agreed upon before there birth it as old as the old waterway that has been destroyed by the great fire god.

Now fertile land is offered to you and your people for generation of use in exchange for water. This is better than one night of innocent blood, Do you not agree King.”

The room fell silent. The King of the Wai agreed to what was offered the marriage was called off. Nonilla was amazed as the fire and knowledge that she wielded like talons into the Wai throats.

Once the papers were drawn up and signed. Ramona went over to Calvin to shake his hand.

“Good debate McShan.”

“Yea. How did you know so much about them?”

“I studied.”

“You have to admitted my innocent blood was brilliant.”

Romana smiled nodded and punched him across the jaw. Laying him out cold in the grand room. She looked up and bowed to the Wai king and turned to walk towards the Iwipoo.

Nonilla was shocked by what he has just seen and stirred his beast. ‘She will be good to warm our bed.”

He shook the thought out of his head. She is not their kind.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The Wai prince found the human intriguing and wanted her. He is glad to be rid of the young iwipoo. His sight was set on the female Ramona.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The iwipoo went to another room in the Kings home. The king and Orick spoke silently before addressing Ramona.

“I want to thank you for what you have done. The king has decided for your service you will have the home on the west field. He thinks you will be happy to live your life out there.”

“Excuse me I did what you have asked. Now I will go on my vacation and leave this lovely planet to you.”

The looked at her as if she is crazed.

“First Sargent you have read our history. You know who and what we are. You will never be able to leave.”

“I read your history that is mixed with fairy tales and folk lore. It is no cause for me to stay.”

“You do not believe?”

“What that your people are dragons. No it is not possible. Delusional but physically not possible.”

The beast in the king clawed to be free. It was angry at the female and will not tolerate her ignorance.

Orick seen the anger stirring in the King. If she truly did not believe she will in just a moment because King Nonilla was transforming before their eye’s.

Ramona stood there and watched as the King physically transformed before her into a beast of legend. Then it all went black.

So she won and she seen the beast. But in the processes she attracted another. What is to happen to her now? Comment and like. Fiaxoxo

Eternal Blaze{TCOTD(13)}

The trial was being held in the room of  eternal blaze. The monastery theme room, with hundred feet high ceilings. Three thick columns that held candlesticks that if the wax fell on your skin it will melt to the bone. In the center of the room where the guilty stood was an indoor mote. The liquid fire surround the tempered dragon hide brick was over 2,200f degrees .(1,200c). Once the accused is in the center, a shield of cool nitrogen is released until found guilty.

The jury consist of the nine fire holders. These nine will listen to the  issue and decide if it is worth consideration to let live or to burn as Makalo has deem fit. It was smart of Mimi to ask for a trial.

“Mmm, the smell of smoke. I do love a trial.” Abella said as she sat in the seat that over looked the jurors and Mimi.

“We the nine do not abide by human law. You will begin to talk and if by chance you are innocent of what you are being accused of, you will be set free. If you are guilty you will burn.”

Mimi stood before them and showed no fear. Fear show proof of guilt and they love to watch a person burn alive.

“Speak.”

“I have been accused of conspiring behind Abella’s back. I have not. I have proof of where I have been on the day I am being accused of.”

“Show proof.” One of the nine that sat to the right of Mimi said.

Cleo walked inside and stood outside the circle of fire.

“Speak”

“Mimi and I spent the day together.”

“Sleeping? When one is asleep, one can leave and then return, before one is wake.” The center of the nine asked.

“We did not sleep the whole day.”

“But you did sleep.”

“Yes, it was about noon.” Cleo said with a smile and a quick glance towards Mimi.

“So she is guilty then.”

“No.” Cleo yelled then was removed.

“You were accused of conspiring behind Abella. She did not specify the time of day it had occurred and by this courts account you have no witness that proves that you stayed slumbering in the witness room.”

Mimi looked towards Abella with hatred. She knew that she set this up.

“You follow a devious creature. Makalo is our ruler, not that.” She pointed at Abella.

Slowly the nitrogen began to shut off and the clothing Mimi wore began to set a blaze. Mimi looked at every one of the nine’s deviant faces and etched them to memory. If she survived she will skin their faces of their dead skulls and pin it to her bed room wall.

The center circle became smaller, allowing the liquid to etch closer.

“You will die Abella.”

She laughed,” If I do you will never see it happen.”

Mimi felt and smelled her hair set a blaze. She did not mind dieing. She was already dead. She just wanted to see that bitch die first. Layer after layer her skin burned. Letting the room smell of her charred flesh. She will not scream. She will not give her an ounce of pleasure seeing her in pain.

Abella watched like an expectant buzzard waiting for the animal to drop to feast on it’s dead carcass.

As Mimi was about to fall on the ground from blacking out. She felt her body being carried off.

“Abella you have gone too far.” Makalo yelled.

The nine rose and was bout to retreat until Makalo looked at them. Making them immobile.

“She was convicted by the nine. By your law she must be burned.”

Makalo looked at the nine and only one looked as if he had remorse. He turned with Mimi in his arms and walked to her chambers.

“You made it.” She whispered and fainted. The burns are deep and she will need blood and to sleep the eternal sleep for a year. Makalo made arrangements for Mimi to be taken away after receiving blood and hidden until she is fully healed.

Makala had to teach Abella what a real punishment by his hand consist of.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Creya woke up with a slight buzzing in her head. It had to be all that drinking the night before. She tried not to remember what had transpired between them.

Did you know lips flush with color when aroused? He whispered to her.

She should have punched him. Why didn’t she? He was getting back at her for making him eat that cookie.

She decided to shake it off. She decided if he needed for her to apologize again. He was out of luck. He went into the bathroom down the hall to take a quick shower. It was down the hall from her room. Before going to take a much needed shower, she decided to knock on the door to see how if Adorjan was up?

He answered the door wearing only pants. his hair was a mess and he definately was not ready to get up for the day.

“What?”

“Are you gonna get up. We have to find Ukr.”

“I will be up in another couple of hours.”

“Do you normally sleep at dawn?”

“No I don’t normally sleep this long but then again I never had blood before either. Couple of hours, ok?”

“Fine, I’ll knock on the door.”

Adorjan closed the door and she could hear him fall on the bed.

She walked down the hall and tried to keep her mind on the mission. “That’s it creya stay focus. He’s a dhampir. We have to protect and follow your own path.” She told herself as she turned the shower on.

Stepping under the warm spray she focused on the mission. As hard as she tried her thoughts wondered to Adorjan. She turned the water to cold to keep her focused. It helped.

She gotten dressed and took a walk around to see what was going on.

“Miss you need to wake the dahampir and leave.”

She looked towards a dirty cracked window and walked towards it.

“What?”

“No time. Leave they will kill you both.”

The voice stopped and it seemed as if it’s owner had fled. She went back to the boarding place right in time to see three men enter the front door and three men enter the back.

“Shit!” she whispered.

I hope all of you are enjoying the story. Until next time let me hear from you and like it.

I own the right to this story
