The tacky texture of a drop of blood about to congealed happens in about eight to fifteen minutes. Within that span of time a new member to the story has just made her presence known and her name is Lurkspur.

Lurkspur is not one to be trifle with. The androgynous way he or she choses to dress is quite disturbing to those in the nest. Some say she is an ancient and others believe she is just a pure blood vampire with remarkable abilities.

Lurkspur has decided to pay Makalo a visit. No one dare say no and no one could remember as to why they wouldn’t. She walked in the house with a boom. The door opened to his power.

All talking came to an end and all eyes were on Lurkspur. It stood at six feet three inches. With the help of heeled shoes. The white flowy blouse and black tight pants were a confusing mix. Since the bulge indicates male but the top appearce screamed female.

Makalo stood at the top of the stair case and watched the show.

“Are you not going to greet me prince or must I prostrate myself in front of every one for a whispered hello?”

Makalo could not hold back his smile. Lurkspur always had that power over him.

“I will greet you once you decide what sex your representing.”

Lurkspur made a frivolous gesture with its hands, tossed his shoulder length, chestnut colored hair and said,” For an hour I will be male and the next female. We will continue to rotate if I decide to stay till dawn.”

Lurkspur bowed in a gentlemanly way conceding to the prince. Makalo walked down and slapped him on the shoulder as he said,” Welcome my friend.”

“Makalo we must talk but not here and not where the walls have ears.” Lurkspur said.

Makalo motioned for him to follow him. He guided him into the study that no one dared to enter.

“Is it safe?”

“Send out your power to check.”

“I can not Makalo. My power has increased and what I may think is a trickle could blow the wall down.”

“Always the extremist. What is so urgent that you have my people struck dumb.”

“There has been a shift in the ether.”

“What?”

“Yes an imbalance. Have you interfered on your offsprings journey?”

“I have told no of him and yet you know. Your power has increased.”

“You believe that the boy is the one I am asking after.”

Makalo had not thought of his daughter for a while. His thoughts always where on his son.

“She has been away studying. She will come of age to marry in a year. What do you know?”

Lurkspur walked to the window and looked at the moon. “The ether is stating that you will not have a chance to marry her off. A dark claim is being set for her.”

“A dark claim?” Makalo questioned trying to think what he meant. Then it came to him.

“Dolph! How did he find her?”

“He is attracted to the purest of blood and of course your blood line. You have until the next full moon to change the course or what will happen next I do not even want to speak of.”

Lurkspur always did like to dramatize a situation but this time he was not exaggerating. The full moon was to nights away. He had to find some to be in charge and mimi was out of commission.

“Makalo do not fret. That is why I am here. I will watch your house until your return.”

“That would not be necessary.”

“Do not argue with me. You need a strong leader until you return. whether male or female I am the force they do not want to test.”

Makalo did not doubt that but will he give his next back after that is worry.

“Come lets have a drink then you should leave and fetch her” Lurspur pured the red wine then broke the glass in his hand. As the blood dripped he walked to Makalo, “I give you my blood oath I will not take the nest my friend.” He held the bleeding hand to his lips and Makalo licked the jagged wound.

Just a drop of Lurkspur’s blood was dangerous. It would bind you to it for all eternity if it choose to. If he were to go against his oath he would perish. It lived to long to want to die now.

Lurkspur stepped away and Makalo noticed that it held itself more feminine than just a moment ago.

“The hour has past and now I am female.”

Makalo heartedly laughed as Lurskspur giggled into her silk sleeve.

“Go know.” The voice had changed as well. Softer.

Makalo nodded and left to go and retrieve his daughter. Lurkspur went to the wine and poured more into a new glass. the cut healed and she felt like being a little naughty.

“I wonder who will quench my thirst for the night.” She giggled and then drank the wine.

Dead Blood {The call of the Dhamphir(11)}

Makalo rose from the bed which he currently was sharing with Kara. Normally he would wait until she rose before leaving her presenses. But there was something off in the house.

Why was she here? No one knew of his travels. Where was Sheri? Whispers seemed to be following him down the hallway. It was being illuminated by modern light. Yet the light still casts shadows every step he took.

The whispers became clearer.

“Sheri when are you going to tell your guest of the current situation.”

“Mitchel do not rush me. Once he awakens I will find a way to tell him.”

“You have given him false hope all these centuries. Why Sheri?”

“Hope is never false. Any way the truth will be told so.”

Makalo swept into to the room to see Sheri sitting across the large dining room table with a gentlemen he had never met before.

“Makalo you have awaken. I see Kara prowess had not worn you out.”

“What is it that I need to know?”

“He sure get’s to the point, doesn’t he Sheri?” the gentlemen said as he lift his glass to lips to drink.

“Sit Makalo and have a drink with us. I have fifty year old Irish blend. A bit innocent and a bit naughty.”

“How did you get that particular blend to last without it congealing?”

“Oh I can not tell my secrets can I?” she said as took another sip.

Makalo waited until the servant finished pouring his drink and took a sip. Then politly sit the contents in a hankerchief.it. Something was definatly off here. No vampire can drink aged blood and not get ill.

“Now down to business.” The gentlemen said as he rose with his glass in hand.

His smell was off, his skin slightly off and his speech held an accent that he could not place yet.

“Yes what is it that you want to inform me Sheri.”

“That you are not to come here any longer. I was informed by your father that you are going against the pure vampiric society. You are lucky you are alive Makalo. Why don’t you give up what ever plan you have devised?”

Makalo pushed the glass away. This was not Sheri. She did not care of the purity of vampires. She would love it to be watered down as much as possible.

“Who are you?”

“I told you who I am didn’t I? If I didn’t sorry. My name is Mitchel Pavillio.” He said then bowed.

“Pavillo. The necromancer. You gave us blood from the dead.”

“On the contrary when I raise them, I give them that spark of life and the blood losens a bit and I catch it right at that perfect moment.”

“There is no perfect moment. That is why Sheri is acting as if she has lost her mind. Her brain is probably filled with maggots as we speak.”

“Makalo I am in my right mind.”

“No you are not. You are under his control.” Makalo rose from his seat and walked towards Mitchel. The color in his eyes were gone. Dark and anger filled them.”

“Stay back. I will end Sheri’s immortal life in an instant and your Kara as well.”

“What is it that you want?”

“Kill your son. Rid us of this bliath on the pure name of vampire.”

“Why do you care of our pure name? Your a bliath as well. Who hired you?”

Mitchel did not answere but snarled a bit at the insult.

“Careful Makalo. I will end them. Then end you.”

Makalo realized that he really thought he drank that filth. He made it to his advantage.

“I can not kill my son. I created him.” He said almost in a whisper.

“Yes you did now you must end him.”

Makalo sat in the chair with his head hung low. He heard when Mitchell stepped away from Sheri. He stood up and was be hind him before he realized that he even moved. Once the realization hit his neck was snapped and his body hit the floor.

Makalo went to sheri and looked into her eyes. She was being eaten alive by those awful things. There was only one way to get them out and he hated to do that to his dear friend and ally.

He lifted her up and walked to the lounge chair. There by the fire place were long stick matches. He struck two and immediately pushed them up her nose. Then another two and stuck them in her ears.

Little white maggots began to flee from her body. Through her mouth and eyes. When he pulled the matches out they escaped from there as well. He continued to do this until her body was purged from those insects.

Once done he took her to her room for her to rest. She will be ravenous when she wakes. His job was not complete. He had to attend to Kara. That was going to prove difficult since he had developed feelings for her.

He pushed himself to do what must be done. That night was filled with screams and anger. Too bad he could not rise again so he could kill Mitchell Pavilloall over again.

Adorjan dressed quickly and grabbed his bags. Creya was waiting for him dowm stairs.

“Stay away from me Creya. I will do this on my own.”

“That is good to hear. Then I will just be around to make sure that you do.”

It bothered him that he could not trust her. He never felt as alone as when he lost the only person he could someday consider a friend. Now he just wanted to be away from her and Ina.

“Jan let her follow part of the way. If you can a reason for her to return she will. Until then just humor us.”

“I should not do anything you ask.”

“True but you will.” Ina turned her back to them and returned to making some weird orange blue concoction.

They left and once the door closed, Adojan slammed Creya against the door. You try anything like that again. your blood will not be the only first I will ever have done. I will kill you.”

Adorjan meant every word he said and for the first time Creya got a glimpse of the killer he could be and she was afraid.

The call of the Dhampir

Chapter One

Not so long ago, my kind was feared by not only humans but the very creatures that we steam from. Vampire or the living immortals. Normally you would hear that we hide in the shadows and kill indiscriminately.

That is not who we are. We are the off spring of the blessed mortals that walk in the sun and the damned beast that roam the night. We are in that grey area that no one dare speak of. We kill when their is a need for it. Lately the need had somewhat diminished.

Our appetites are as complex as our make up. Yes we can drink blood to survive but is it necessary no. We eat and digest food just as our mortal half requires.

Before I go into why I am writing all of this. I must tell you that I fear that my life will end before I will end this account of our existence.

I will start with my name. I am called Adorjan Szabo. My mother was the daughter of the Hungarian tailor to the Czar. My father was a high immortal vampire that fell in love with the pure innocents of a young woman.

My mother stood all of 1.49 meters tall (59in). I remember she had thick brown hair, heighted by the sun, leaving a golden hue. That was not the most remarkable thing about her. What drew you in was her eye. You read correct. Her eye drew you to her. She was born with only one eye, framed with lush lashes that naturally emphasized the deep green of her iris.

My sire which I prefer to call him was tall framed. Strong looking jaw that housed lips that was so full and supple that it made you wonder if he was meant to be female. His hair was dark like on a full moon and if I remembered correctly he smelled of sweet honey suckle.

I was created on the night of Maborn, to those who do not know that would be September. I was told that it was a mutual mating and the thought of love did cross their minds once or twice, but it was fleeting. My sire took what he wanted and granted a wish that she bargain for, but before the bargain was consummated he fed from her.

Even though she was a beauty, having that one eye had put off many suitors and she felt alone. She told me when I was of age that she asked my sire to take her innocents, so she would feel what other women felt even if it was once in her life time.

He agreed to the bargain but he did not realize that she was a carrier. She was of the ancient line of mortal female that was able to carry an offspring of a vampire to term and create a Dhampir.

When my mother realized she was with child she ran off into the woods toward my grand yaya’s home. Yaya loved and cared for my mother until the day of my birth. That was the day things changed. Yaya realized I was the offspring of the undying. She wanted to spare my mother heart ache and kill me at birth but my mother pleaded for my life.

“Angyal, you will not have an easy life with the gyermek (child). He will never be part of either of our worlds why do this?” Yaya asked

My mother looked at me and said that she will have someone to love for ever. the forever lasted until her ninetieth birthday. I buried her next to Yaya in the woods on the day of my birth. As I said my good bye’s , that is when I seen it.

An image of a place that I must go. My yaya told me that some immortals have the gift of seeing images. Some may be present or the future. I believe it was a place I must travel to in the present. I packed what little I had and left my home in the woods.

Little did I know that my very existence was being observed. In the shadows I was being followed. At the time I did not notice but the time was drawing near to the “culling”. A change that all Dhampir’s go through when they reach the age of maturity.

The tracker was set upon me by Abella a name that you will get familiar to as my story unfolds. I walked through the woods avoiding the small towns as best as I could. I had learned to hide my teeth but there were times that they would hurt when a young woman would approach.

The sweet smell that came off them seemed to be amplified. My yaya told me about the acts between a  men and a women and even though I was not allowed to be near them it was not without effort to quench my desires.

One night I could hear my mother and my grandmother contemplating on paying one of the young maidens to bed me in hopes that would help. But I did not want that, so I told them very sternly that I did not want a… whore. They both turned flushed that I over heard what they had planned but conceded not go through with it.

that was over eight years ago and I do not regret my decision. What if I hurt a mortal being engulfed in lust or what if I get killed being discover by an immortal female? I will wait until I find my own kind. If any other’s were out there.

The day was behaving beautifully. The Anorie and the Godor people where buzzing with wedding preparations. The excitement was infectious. The crew was dressed in their best and Elphin was dressed in the Anorie orange and gold large pants and sher white top.

Lorac and Sanu decided to pay Elphin a visit before the ceremony.

“Great. Why did you come here?”

Lorac smiled knowing the comment was toward Sanu and not himself.

“”You need to calm your self. I came in peace and to give you some knowledge of what must be done in an Anorie mating ceremony.”

“I’ve seen what Lorac and Jayla had done. I’m pretty sure I can follow what I had seen.

Sanu smiled e and shook his head.

“That ceremony was for the leader of the Anorie. You will have to overtake your mate and mark her right here.” He pointed at the soft flesh above the collarbone.

“Mark her. I did not see Lorac do that. Why must I cause her harm?”

“As Sanu said I am the leader and Jayla is wearing my mark but it is not visible to other’s eyes. Only my own. You are an anorie male. You must mark her so no other male will try to take her from you.”

“What? After seeing us mate. They will try to claim her still?”

“Yes. So that is why you must mark her.”

“How is it done?”

“After you get her to submit by grasping her throat. You swiftly release her and then with your sharp teeth clamp down. You will puncture skin but it will heal when she shifts. But the mark will stay because of our saliva.”

“So she will not feel pain?”

“She will feel a little pain. If she is true Anorie she will handle the pain well.”

Elphin sat on his bed thinking of what must be done. He had to tell her what to expect. He did not want her to be shocked. He stood and started to walk out of the room until Lorac blocked his way.

“Move.”

“Stand down.”

“You are not my leaders. I was not raised here, I need to tell Le’en what to expect.”

“I am the leader to all Anorie. Do not push me to demonstrate my power. ”

“I will not listen to you.”

Elphin knees buckled and his chest felt as if it was going to cave in.

“What you are feeling is your leader’s power. I Am Your Leader, Now sit and listen to what must be done. Le’en has been informed of everything last night.”

Elphin chest relaxed and his knees were obeying him again.

“Alright as long as she knows what to expect.

Sanu and Lorac nodded in unison. Somehow that did not make him feel at ease. They went over what had to be done and then left him to his thoughts.

Elphin was confident he knew what an Anorie ceremony was by watching Jayla and Lorac. But now his nerves were getting in the way, because of the new information he was told.

The time was drawing near and his beast wanted its mate in the worst way.

“Okay, Elphin you can do this.”

He gave himself a pep talk and rose off his bed, proceeded to walk out of his door and decide he will do anything to have Le’en as his.

The Anorie people have gathered around in the ceremonial mating area. The people swayed and hummed a song that enticed Elphins beast to come to the surface and clawed him from the inside. He stood at the north end of the circle waiting for Le’em to appear.

The crowd began to divide at the south end, allowing Le’em through. The first sight of her triggered his hunger for her. Her normally pulled back hair was set free. Her eyes were enhanced by dark liner. Her skin seemed to glow with a light that he had never seen before.

The clothing was barely there. There was just enough to cover her sex and breast. Elphin began breathing through parted lips and his nostrils flared in obvious arousal. The singing became louder. He began to walk towards her by using the perimeter of the  circle. Le’em walked the opposite way, keeping him in her sight.

Elphins beast could not be held back any longer and it broke free. Roaring his dominance, wanting Le’em to submit.

Le’em’s beast finally broke free. A beautiful bright female with a hint of a dark ring around her paws. She bared her teeth in defiance.She was not going to make it easy for her mate. If he wanted her, he would have to prove it.

Elphin beast charged her and she snapped back in defense. He attack from another side and countered by rolling out of the way. He decided to watch her and when she turned her sight to the right he took the opportunity to capture her throat in his jaws. He positioned her where he wanted and took her in front of the anorie people.

Once the mating stopped they both turned back and stood before all as a mated couple. The people parted the circle so they had no obstacle in their way into the mating hut. The door closed, Elphin captured Le’em lips with his mouth and leaned her against the wall. His scent on her was driving him mad. He lifted her so she could straddle his hips.

He walked her to the bed that was in the hut. His hands roamed her glistened flesh memorizing every tender spot that drove her higher for him.

“Emm Elphin.”

He reached between her legs and ripped the cloth away. She felt hot and wet for him. He held his shaft and glided it into her wet channel. She was so tight, that screamed as he pushed his way throw her sheath. He took the opportunity to bite her and mark her were he was told to, to claim his woman.

The Anorie people continued to celebrate as Le’em walked into the woods towards the Godor females that were waiting.

“I have never seen an Anorie mating before it is so exhilarating.” the young woman said to the right of her. She could not have been more that fifteen years of age.

“My name is Mo-u-mo. Please forgive my daughter Yali. We will be taking you to my home to prepare you for Loeum”

Le’em smiled and nodded. She wished she had a familiar face near her but she will see Jayla and the other’s after the mating ceremony.

A godors home is beautifully decorated with soft blue and creams. The earth floor seemed a bit darker than the Anorie side of the planet.

The women lead Le’em to the bathing tub and washed her with scented petals  and herbs. The Godor beast was purring inside her. the women must have heard it because they all smiled.

“Your Godor beast is pleased. It is the scent of the Odora flower.” Mo-u-mo said as she cleansed her hair.

“May I ask you a question?” Yali said with her head tilled to the side as a cat would when it is trying to figure out what is before them.

“Yes.”

“Is your Anorie beast okay with what we are doing?”

“She is asleep. She has stepped aside so the other may come out.”

“Did the Godor beast do the same?”

“She was not interested what was going on earlier. She knew her mate was not near so she was calm.”

All of the women took the information in. Mo-u-mo motioned for Le’em to come out of the bath and dried her off. He hair was smoothed down with oil and her lips was painted lightly with a sweet rogue.

It seems the Godor males like their females clothes in sheer fabric. Everyone can see that she is bare underneath. Nothing is hidden.

“You were told what to do during the mating?”

“Yes she understands and is ready.”

“Good, good. Please drink this. It will give you energy to sustain what is ahead.”

Le’em smelled the sweet drink before drinking it. It had a hint of alcohol in it, it must be to keep her nerves calmed.

After she was fully dressed she heard a knocking at the door. Mo-u-mo looked at Le’em and walked towards it.

“I will be your surrogate mother. Are you ready?”

Le’em nodded.

Mo-u-mo answered the door. There was a tall Godor male dressed in a dark silk shirt and hair flowing loosely on his shoulders.

“I have come for my brother’s mate.”

“What have you brought for her?”

He presented blue and white stones that appeared to glow in the moon light. Mo-u-mo held it up to inspect the quality of the stones. Then she walked it over to Le’em placed it over her head and said,” You have been given an exquisite gift. I am assured he will be able to provide for you  my dear.”

After it was placed she walked her out to the waiting male and noticed the precession of males waiting. They lead her to the sacred tree. Louem was waiting with his eyes the color of the stones she wore around her neck.

Le’em walked towards him as her beast clawed and mewed her release.

“Are you ready for theGodor, little one.” Loeum asked

“Yes”

“Let us begin.”

The male walked towards the surrounding trees and climbed out of Le’em view but not out of ear shot.

Loeum walked and took off his ceremonial shirt and tossed it to the side. As he bent on all fours his dark fur flowed through like a ripple on a pond. Le’em removed her clothing and allowed her beast to be set free.

They circled each other in a primitive mating dance. Le’ems beast layed down on the earth let out a strange-sounding purr. Louem roared and positioned himself to take is docile mate.

The mating was seamless. Coming toward the ending Loeum beast clawed Le’ems side as she climaxed.

She roared in slight pain and set off all the Godor beast to roar their approval of the joining. Once separated Louem lead Le’em to the awaited hut.

Loeum changed back into human form and waited of Le’em to enter before he closed the door behind her. She changed back hold her side that showed his claiming. He ran to get the salve and administered it to her side.

“Are you alright?” he asked concerned.

Once the pain subsided, Le’em hand left her side and caressed the strong muscle of the Godor males back. He rose and looked into her eye’s. He seen that she was waiting to be taken. He smelled the air and smelled her arousal.

He took her in a soft sensual kiss that left her sex burning for him to enter  her. He released her lips so he could taste her soft sweet skin at her neck. She could not get enough of his mouth and his hot muscled flesh against her wanton nipples. He trailed his tongue down to her dusty brown nipple and captured it between his teeth. she yelped from the slight pain. He suckled the throbbing nipple and caressed the other with a hand that had a mind of it own. Instead of going to the other taunting nipple he trailed his tongue down to the border of her exotic island. Le’em legs began to trembling from the rush of heated hormones to her sex. Loeum leaned away to watch as she freely ran down her legs.

He swiped his tongue against her nub and Le’em threw her head back arching her breast forward presenting them to take. He swiftly picked her up and laid her on the mating bed.

“I can not wait any longer. Your smell is making it impossible.”

He waited a second longer and watched her expression as he entered her. She was so tightly swollen, ‘must have been Elphin’. He thought and smiled. The Godor people celebrated with food and wine for Loeum and Le’em’s mating. They sang and dance until the moon began to go down. Le’em left the hut and walked towards the ship.

Jayla was waiting in the shadows for her. She looked her over to make sure she was alright. She seen the mating marks from both males.

“Are you alright? Do you want to wait for the final joining?”

“No take me to Red T and the Anorie seer. They are waiting for  me.”

Jayla smiled and thought as she looked at her, ‘Le’em was much stronger than I ever thought.’

The final ceremony that the males agreed upon was one that they did not see coming.

There was a knock on the door to Elphin’s hut. He was greeted by Lorac and Sanu dressed in a formal white and gold out fit. Still holding to the Anori style.

“We were sent to you with this.”

Holding out a suite that was white with gold.

“So I guess my mates theme is white and gold.”

Both Sanu and Lorac looked at each other smiling.

“What? You guys know something I don’t.”

“Of course I do. I am the Anorie leader. Now dress so we can leave.

On the opposite side of the planet. Loeum received the same knock but was greeted by Mo-u-mo with the gold and dark-colored suit.

“Your mate request you dress in this. Please hurry so we can proceed.” She said.

He looked at the strange clothing and nodded. While Mo-u-mo thought, “Le’em is getting off to a brilliant start.”

The two tribes had gathered at the border of the Godor and Anorie lands for the ceremony.

Elphin arrived dressed in white and gold with his ear length hair combed back and cleanly shaved. Lorac and Sanu stood beside him.

Loeum arrived in his gold and midnight color suit. Hair pulled back and tied since it was long enough to be past his shoulder blades. Mo-u-mo and the chief stood beside him.

Loeum and Elphin sized each other up wondering which looked better to their mate clothing. Suddenly every one was quiet.

Jayla appeared wearing a pure white almost gleaming dress. That accentuated her breast by cinching her waist. The dress had a slit that went straight up to her hip. She also wore shoes that Lorac had never seen. the heel was so high it made her legs look lickable.

Lorac could not control his beast and they all looked at him as he internally growled seeing his mate. Jayla smiled and started the ceremony.

“Normally this would be a long and drawn out ceremony, but Le’em wanted to spare her mates that agony. So shall we welcome Le’em to the ceremony?” Jayla stood to the side so they all can see her.

Red T walked to the new dwelling that was constructed with his magical help and knocked on the door. The door opened and Le’en walked out wearing the colors of her mates. The fabric hugged her breast and held them high. Her middle revealed supple skin and the markings from Loeum’s paws. As she advanced, The bite that Elphin sink into her neck was exposed as well.

“I think I have given you enough space to think about things.”

Julius sat on his arm chair waiting for the flood of questions and anger. Instead what he received was the reserved.

Once the door closed behind the frightened Chae the three women that stood to the side was still in shock.

“Can I ask what took so long in the rest room?”

untitledWelcome fire starters new and old. You know how I like to do things. The match as been struck. It starts out with a small spark then rages into an inferno.

Q: Fia the summer is almost over and I felt like I spent the whole time at work instead of enjoying the sun. Help me.

A: Do you go out at lunch? I know exactly what you are talking about. The sun has rejuvenating qualities and if you’re at work and you just look out side from your desk. When you get off of work maybe two out of three days just drop everything off and go back out. See a movie, go the a park, or a pool. Just stay out as long as you can. It helps.

Q: So went to my friend’s doctor and I have to say I will never return. Tell me if I am wrong. First the receptionist was had an attitude, for what reason I don’t know and I don’t care. Then I was called in twenty minutes after my appointment. That is not the half of it. When the doctor came in he started talking to me about my problem that I did not have. He was reading from someone else’s chart. Am I wrong to say I won’t be back.

A: No you are not. Their were too many signs showing you that what is good for your friend is not good for you. For a doctor to into the exam without confirming who you are if a real big red flag. It’s waving “run, run as fast as you can.” There is nothing wrong with getting recommendations from your friends but do your own research and investigating from now on.

Q Fia is porn really as bad as everyone said’s it is?
